A secret Service Agent facing charges for allegedly trying to have sex with someone he thought was a 14yearold girl. State police say lee moore sent explicit photos of himself and chatted with an undercover officer posing as a team in sussex county, delaware. Moore is a uniformed officer assigned to the white house. Investigators say he admitted to sending some of the explicit messages while on the job. A man police say is tied to a drug investigation is on the run tonight. Nbc 10 in chester, delaware county, where the man took off, he hit a police cruiser, then took off and eventually ran away. Search dogs were brought in but didnt find anything. Police say they know who they are looking for. Accused of turning the tables on the cop who busted him. Authorities in bucks county say thats what a man did after an officer uncovered his illegal business practices. Nbc 10s Deanna Durante reporter 49yearold John Deangelo doesnt say anything as he heads into court. He runs this pawnshop, it was back in july when police came here and cited deangelo for not keeping items logged in state files, thats against the law. He took a plea deal in that case. They say he wanted revenge on the officer who wrote the viation so he took to the internet and posted fake ads, the first to attract bargain hunters and others asking treasure seekers to come any time day or night and another advertising a sexual encounter and instructing a man who applied to the ad just to come inside the officers house. Retaliation against any witness is always extremely serious and we do not take it lightly. It is scary it is a Police Officer. Reporter as punishment for that citation, deangelo was ordered to close his shop for 21 days and police say it was during the time it was closed those fake craigslist accounts were set up. Computers are traceable, phones are traceable, everything has records. If you choose to do this, were going to find you. Reporter police say an email address had an address across the street from the pawnshop and say they have video of deangelo buying a cell phone, one used to make calls for people responding to the ad. Absolutely, yeah. Again, this is something that well get into at Great Lengths when we are at the court of common police. Reporter Court Officials say deangelo hasnt complied with bail restrictions to turn over his gun. Until that happens, hes going to remain behind bars. Deanna durante, nbc 10 news. In chester county, four boys are facing criminal charges in a sexting and Cyber Bullying investigation. District attorney tom hogan is warning kids and parents more imj as may be out there after some kids were already caught sharing and trading images. Hogan has a warning for any children who might be involved. Kids, let me tell you this, get these images off your phones. All right . Because if you get found with them on there, youre going to be in big trouble. Get them off. You know who you are. In this case, the boys are facing charges ranging from sexting and harassment to transmission of obscene material. Send your child to college and only pay tuition for three years. Today Rowan University announced a new threeyear degree. Heres the catch, students will have to go to school year round for two summers. Theyd get free tuition and housing for the summer semesters. Students have to take the same number of credits who graduate in the four year program. The program would save students about 22,000. This new degree plan starts for students next fall. Students can apply for that option beginning december 1st. Drexel university has rescinded bill cosbys honorary degree. The University President made that announcement this morning after meeting with the board of trustees there. Drexel awarded the degree to cosby back in 1992. Last week the university of pennsylvania decided not to remove a similar degree there. Cosbys never been charged with a crime and denies the allegations from several women that he drugged and sexually assaulted them. The mystery remains over just how a 3yearold Camden County boy died. Tonight we spoke to the attorney for the boys father. We first reported last night at 11 00 the childs aunt appeared before a grand jury. Tomorrow marks one month since the mysterious death of Brendan Creato. Cydney long sat down with the criminal defense attorney to explore more about the investigation. Theres two purposes to a grand jury. Reporter former prosecutor turned criminal defense attorney is anxious to know what killed 3yearold Brendan Creato. He has no ties to the case but is weighing in with us on why its going to a grand jury. One is either to indict or charge or pursue charges dpens someone who is a suspect in the case, two, is an investigative tool. Reporter a source confirms to nbc 10 brendans aunt, 20yearold Sarah Jessica creato testified monday before grand jurors. She is the fathers sister, who created a college documentary that featured brendan, a boy who went missing and later died. Her attorney has said the film is irrelevant. Any prosecutor, any investigator is going to get, you know, their antenna up over that. Reporter but he imagines it is being discussed. Its highly coincidental at the least this woman makes a film with this young child portraying a child who ultimately disappears and dies. And then, you know, fast forward and that actually happens to the child. Reporter he says sadly Brendan Creato case reminds him of the Jonbenet Ramsay murder, a case some 2,000 miles away from here in new jersey and in 2016 it marks 20 years unsolved. Jonbenet didnt wander off, but there was a dead young child with no real clear cut indication of who was the perpetrator or how it happened. Reporter one attorney who represents the boys father d. J. Reporter Galloway Township Police Officer gary brenner legitimately served his country in the marines, but despite the uniform, he says 25yearold Michael Porter is not a member of the u. S. Army. I take a lot of offense to it. Reporter brenner says he initially thought the guy walking on the side of the road veterans day evening needed help, but when he recognized porter from unrelated dealings in town, he knew the man was an imposter. We believe he could possibly been out trying to obtain some benefits from wearing the uniform. Reporter porter was stopped a short distance away from the headquarters of the 177th fighter wing of the new Jersey Air National guard. Police charged him with violating the states stolen valor act, which makes it a crime to impersonate a military member or veteran. Authorities say he was also carrying a police scanner, handcuffs, and a handcuff key, illegal in this case because he was allegedly posing as a member of the army. Disgrace. A woman who answered the door at his Galloway Township home didnt want to talk about his arrest. Did he have an excuse . No excuse. We had rain during the day today, it didnt affect the morning rush, not affecting the afternoon rush. Right in between. Just a few hours now drying out tonight, but were also going to be getting colder winds getting in starting tomorrow. And thats going to lead to a chilly weekend. Its going to be a dry weekend. A lot of sunshine over the weekend. Its going to be cold for this time of the year. And compared to how mild its been, its going to feel even colder than that. The visibility is excellent now, 59 degrees, we still have mostly cloudy skies, winds out of the south, so the cold air is not coming in yet. 59 degrees now, 56 in allentown and reading. 59 in atlantic city. 58 degrees in millville. So its going to be relatively mild night, and it has not been all that cold lately, but tomorrow were barely going to get to 58 and saturday only 51. And 58 on sunday. Then its going to go back up. This is just a temporary cold spell, and you can see the rain coming by, really fast, we have some showers coming up toward the poconos right now. Thats the last gasp of this system, and as the temperatures go down, they are not going to go down that much. We have to get the wind to shift into the west or the northwest to bring some of that colder air down. You see by later tonight, its not cold at all. Then tomorrow doesnt warm up that much. Not going to be a big temperature difference. Watch tomorrow night how cold it gets. By 11 00 tonight were getting close to 40 degrees, and by saturday morning were in the 30s and we still have wind. We may be talking about wind chills by saturday morning. Then saturday afternoon, barely getting into the low 50s. Some parts of the area dont even get to 50 on saturday. Now we have that cold air over the weekend coming down, but its just not going to last. The overall weather pattern still favors warm air, so the cold air disappears and the mild air starts moving back as we go into early next week. And it stays dry for early next week, too. And then the high temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. So were a little bit around average for the high temperature, but cooler than its been lately. Then on saturday, much cooler, plus the wind, so youll definitely feel that. And sunday morning, temperatures down in the 30s again. Not quite as cold or windy sunday afternoon, and then on monday we start getting a little bit milder, and by wednesday we get a little milder than that.
