Reporter the crowds are coming in waves, but in terms of the sheer volume of people, it is better than this time yesterday. But when people still come, theyre going to have to come and stand in lines. These lines dont last too long however. I talked to some passengers earlier, and they say some of their concerns are that especially as it pertains to late trains, when they look at the big board and see how late trains are, thats not always accurate. So they dont know when theyll get home. Some say thats because express is the only mode of Public Transportation right now. Theyre making stops at all the places they may have passed before. But again, things are moving a little bit better than yesterday, Police Officers are here. Septa personnel are also here, corralling the crowds, yelling out when a train comes, letting people know what lines to stand in, but it is day three, passengers say they are still not used to it, but i can thsay that the chaos is more organized. Likely in this traffic, University Employee students, many of these folks rely on the trollies of west philadelphia, the busses and the market frankfurt line, which runs right under ground through this stretch. As i have said, many of folks forced to use their cars during this strike, even local roads like this, you can see pretty gridlocked and really just crawling along as people come and go on the beginning of their evening commute. From suburban station, we were pibled up by our lovely lyft driver and then we sat in a boat load of traffic trying to get on to kelly drive. We eventually made our way to lincoln drive, which has been bumper to bumper traffic. Reporter were actually moving right now, this is sort of deceptive, which we were not moving at all two minutes ago. It was nicer when we were kind of stopped. When you see this traffic out here, compare this to a normal day, with no strike going on, what would be the traffic be like . Would it be a lot better than this . This is unusual, its just 5 00 and we have been stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. Usually it would be clear sailing on this road. I got you snacks, well, channel 10 got you the snacks. But this is still better than the rail line . This is much better. Looking at the line, when you saw me, i was nervous about first getting on the train itself and having to miss it and having to wait for the next one, which who knows how long that would have been. Even if i had got on the train i would probably have to stand the whole way, and im at the end of the line, and thats a 45minute commute to stand the whole time, which i would not like that. Thats why were seeing more of the backups on the roads. The schuylkill expressway, doesnt look too bad. Right around Spring Garden street and were seeing more of that delay. 28 minutes eastbound from the blue route to the vine expressway. So its slow, its jammed up, its trying to get through here, you see all these people in the road next to us trying to get into town. In different spots, thats kelly drive westbound, but in spots it gets jammed up too. Its slowing the entire works down everywhere in and around center city, philadelphia. As far as delaware temperatures are concerned, we are around 70 for harmony hill, marshallton, 70 degrees, 69 reed point. But if we go a little farther to the south in sussex county, 74 milton, 74 lewis, and in fact some of these spots not too long ago were in the 80s believe it or not. Tomorrow a very different day, so if the septa strike is affecting you and youre going to be walking or biking in to work, around 7 00, 49 degrees, and by lunchtime, mid 50s, and at 5 00, right around 60 degrees. Highs will mostly be around the upper 50s to 60 degrees. Elwyn, allentown 56 degrees, Egg Harbor City 60 degrees, newark 60 degrees but also dry. So a big change there. Then we go into saturday morning, well see some 30 degrees temperatures and it does look good as we go across the weekend and to election day.
