A neighbor was shot police says by another neighbor and then he barricaded himself in the victims home. We spoke exclusively to the victim. What did he have to say . Reporter the victim has gone inside his bottom floor apartment to try and get rest after being released from the hospital. He is still trying to make heads or tails of this bad blood that led to a shooting. He says accusations of a robbery, not true. Lets take a look at the video. After the violence, the suspect barricaded himself inside the victims home as the victim who identify z himself as john sparks was rushed to the hospital. Officers worried the suspect had access to security cameras and could track their movements. They finally used grenades to get inside and make the arrest. The victim told me he never had a problem with his neighbor not until that neighbor pointed a 22 caliber gun at him and opened fire. He was a good dude up until now. Come on, man. Its going to be like that. We can fight it out, but you know reporter he could have killed you. Yeah. He could have. But god was on my side. Reporter sparks says the bullet went through his arm and now is lodged in his right armpit. Police investigators use add search bar to enter the suspects aapartment. New from overnight, two people including a philadelphia firefighter were hurt in a house fire in northeast philadelphia. It started on a home on brook view road just before 2 30 this morning. Were still working to find out the condition of the firefighter. We do know a man in his 20s is being treated. Called to cobs creek early this morning after this jeep overturned and hit a parked car. This was on 57th near baltimore avenue. Police are investigating what caused this accident. And Philadelphia Police are looking for suspects in two weekend shootings in south philadelphia. Police say they found a man shot 11 times laying on 23rd street. He took bullets to the arms legs and buttocks. Last night, someone shot a man. Police say he took himself to the hospital and he is listed in stable condition. Ocean county authorities believe a natural gas leak is to blame for a house explosion in seaside heights. It happened saturday morning. A 26yearold woman is being treated for minor injuries. Authorities say Maintenance Work was being done at the house at the time of the blast. This is the third in ocean county in a matter of weeks. Robert durst, the infamous heir to one of the wealthiest real estate families in manhattan will appear in court today. This arrest of robert durst comes after his off camera but on recording confession that he made while filming this hbo documentary series focusing on his life that includes a link to three killings. He was arrested over the weekend. Hes accused of killing his longtime friend 15 years ago in los angeles. Hes also suspected in the 1982 disappearance of his wife. In last nights finale, durst went into a bathroom and was heard saying quote i killed them all. Heres a clip. Killed them all. Of course. Now in 2001 rngs durst was charged with the murder of his neighbor in galveston, texas. He jumped bail and made it all the way to the lee high valley. You may remember this. He was arrested for shoplifting. At the time he had 36,000 in the trunk of his car. Durst confessed to the killing in texas, but he was eventually acquitted because of selfdefense. Handguns holstered to their hips they called on lower main i dont remember to repeal the ordinance which says no person except police can bring guns into a park. Gun owners say the ordinance is illegal and goes above state law because pennsylvania is an open carry state. Thats your insurance policy. You know, people want to do bad things to you it keeps them away. I think the message theyre sending is were bullies and were coming to your town. Theyre flaunting a right and trying to scare people. Gun rights advocates say they plan to sue the township if they dont repeal the ordinance. The township says they are within their right to regulate and trying to keep public parks safe for everyone. A new York Lawmaker is calling for a ban on sales of longrange green laser pointers because of the danger they pose to pilots. The senator was joined by Airline Pilots yesterday. The test involves studying blood samples from toddler boys. Boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism. After the violence the suspect barricaded himself inside the victims home. They used flash bang grenades to subdue and arrest the suspect. The victim was rushed to press presbyterian hospital. He says he doesnt know why the suspect shot him and accused him and another neighbor of robbery. Neither of us like, his neighbors we work we do what we got to do, come home thats it. It nearly hit him and his infant daughter. This happened early yesterday morning on Hidden Valley road. Police say a drunk driver ran a stop sign and crashed through a fence and into the kitchen of the house. He had just walked out of the kitchen. They werent injured. The driver was arrested. I had some noise, turned around the wall was coming towards me. I didnt think of you got to run. I just jumped and i was holding the baby. Now this is daytime video of the boarded up home. The family is staying with neighbors for now. The rebel saga rolls on the the sale of the closed casino hit another snag on friday. A Bankruptcy Court judge did not approve a sale for 82 million. Jeffrey williams was arrested over the weekend after a threeday man hunt. Prosecutors say williams admitted to firing shots but told investigators he was aiming at somebody else because of a dispute. Possible he was firing at some other people and the officers were of course in the path. Both officers survived the shooting and are recovering from their injuries. Police say tips from the public helped them make the arrest. Some worry the shooting could rekindle the violence in ferguson.
