Its an out of this world space theme for the 115th annual mummers parade. The aliens are going to be invading and doing battle. Its going to be a tremendous scene. Were looking forward to really doing well on this new year as day. That parade starts at 10 00 this morning and moved down broad street. Not up down broad street ending at washington. New from overnight, police in Delaware County are investigating a deadly shooting. Police tell us that the victim a 22yearold man was shot at a home at price and culhane streets around 1 00 a. M. Were still looking for the circumstances that led up to the shooting. Investigators are looking for the cause of a house fire in Delaware County. We got this cell phone video from a firefighter. It shows that fire shortly after it started on silvan avenue in glenolden. Four people made it out safely although the house is destroyed. The red cross is helping that family. This morning, a man is in custody after he barricaded himself inside a home in south philadelphia as officers tried to serve a warrant. Skyforce 10 was over the scene. Police tried to serve the suspect a warrant at a home along south 56th street but he got away and ran into this house. A s. W. A. T. Team surrounded the place. The man surrendered a short time later. And no one was hurt. Measle at a museum. A warning about measles in one of the most popular places for children. We have that information straight ahead. Holly at the intersection of washington street and holman street. This fire has been burning almost three hours strong now. Firefighters taking defensive steps and keeping it from spreading on this view of skyforce 10. You can see the quilt on the scene there. Still a lot of fire taking place in this commercial building. That looks like a good sign usually when the smoke is thick and black. When it turns white it means usually that fire crews are getting a handle on this. Through that smoke, you can see the flames there. This fire broke out at 3 00 this morning. Fire crews have been battling it going on three hours now at the commercial building on holman street. In missouri an interstate is back open after a crash resulted in a toxic spill. Hazmat crews cleaned up the scene. A minivan crashed. Two people were injured. A bird of prey was spotted moth most christmas shoppers at a florida walmart. Or high above. A hawk through through the aisles there yesterday. A Wildlife Rescue worker was called in to remove the bird for its safety is and safety of the shoppers. He set out a trap with bait to trap that bird. It looks like it worked. I guess the bait was not the grape juice there. Was glad that we got him out of there. Because he is very emaciated. So im going to feed him up let him stuff himself and let him go. The rescuers was able to put a net over the hawk and captured it in his hand. He even posed for pictures before nursing the hawk to health. Hopefully, its a bigger and better 2015.
