Reporter definitely appears so. When workers tried to remove the pnb letters in august, it took several hours just to get three of them down. But today, a very different picture. Well go ahead and show you what that building looks like right now. The remaining nine letters, all of them, came down in less than 45 minutes. We thought wed still be bringing you live pictures of this whole ordeal, but instead, we have to go to video. This is what it looked like once work began at around 7 30 this morning. A helicopter came in just like last time, hoisted the letters in the air and lowered them one by one to the ground right in front of city hall. The 3,000pound letters were considered a safety hazard since they had been up there on the building for six decades. The pnb stands for Philadelphia National bank. That company is gone, and now the last symbol of that piece of history is gone as well. Its amazing to see a helicopter come that close up on me. And down low like that. Reporter not something you see every day. Yeah, nothing seen like that before. I was amazed. I have friends who were supposed to meet me here and they totally missed it because last time we were here, we stood here for three hours and saw them take down two letters. Reporter it was fast indeed, and just within the past 30 minutes we saw the workers begin to move the giant letters on to flat bed trucks and take them away from the area.
