New this morning, the first look at the man wanted for a rape and home invasion. This Surveillance Video shows the man as he approached a young doctor and forced her inside her apartment. That 26yearold woman was on her way home from ladder 15 bar few blocks from where she lived. Matt delucia is live outside the special units where theyre working to track this man don. Reporter they want to get this man off the streets as soon as possible. Heres a look at the Surveillance Video once again. It was released in the past few hours. It shows the man walking up behind the 26yearold daughter. She had just left ladder 15 at 1 30 yesterday morning. The man grabbed the victim by the neck and forced her to open the door to her apartment building. Once inside police say he forced her upstairs to her apartment, raped her, stole her phone, keys and left only to come a few minutes later. Until this man is caught, women in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood tell us theyre on high alert. In this neighborhood or any neighborhood you do want to feel save. You shouldnt have to worry about those things. Unfortunately today you have to be aware at all times. Reporter Philadelphia Police tell us the man they are looking for was riding a bike before the attack. He locked it up on the street before approaching this lay hes 25 to 30 years old. Its been a violent night in philadelphia with at least eight shootings. One teen was killed and another seriously hurt at a barbecue on the 700th block of montgomery avenue. A 16yearold was shot and killed, a 19yearold in critical condition. The windows of a 24th District Police suv was hit by the shots no. Officer was hurt. There were 300 at the barbecue at the time of the shooting. Another deadly shooting in north philadelphia. This happened outside a bar. Police were called to galaxy lounge. The man thats not identified was pronounced dead at scene. Two other men were shot within minutes of each other. One man riding his bike is in critical condition. The second victim was shot one block away and in stable condition. Investigators are looking to figure out if the two shootings are connected. A man was shot in oxford circle. Hes in stable condition this morning. Nbc 10 was at that scene on north mckinley street. He was shot around 11 45 last night. The gunman took off on foot. And finally a shooting that happened in front of a house on north 8 th street. Nbc 10 captured video from the scene including shattered glass. Police are investigating. Federal mediators start tomorrow handling the dispute between setpa and Regional Rail workers. Theyll hold meetings to talk to both sides. The emergency board has until july 14th to report initial recommendations to president obama. The executive order last weekend prevented the rail workers from striking up to 240 days.
