Thats a fairly significant area of rain moving into some cool air too. Down in the 60s today after 80s last two days and it has been pretty windy too. Gusts over 20 miles an hour. There is nothing on radar now, but that large area of rain back in the midwest is moving straight in our direction. And at least from the philadelphia area southward, we have got a good chance of getting some of that. We need some of that in the last 30 days, less than half an inch of rain nearly three inches of rain below average. Lets see how far north this gets. At least by tomorrow morning, delaware, extreme south jersey youre definitely going to get rain going and it is even going to be cold down there. Temperatures may not get out of the 50s. Just a day after philadelphia voted for City Council Candidates hackers decided to mess with councils website. An online group called cybercommandos claimed responsibility. It went down at 7 00 this morning. The hacker replaced all content with an activist message. City Council Spokeswoman says the hackers never accessed any sensitive information, cyberexpert tells us the site probably lacked security. Likely hit the site with some sort of web scanner and picked up some vulnerability and said this is a prime, easy target. It took a Service Provider three hours to bring it back up. City council is working with the Police Department to prevent future attacks. Robert wilson iii was killed in march in a gun battle inside a video game store. Suspects Carlton Hicks and Ramon Williams, half brothers went before a judge today and also in that courtroom family members of the dead officer. Defense attorneys know very well that when youre facing a mountain of very graphic evidence against your client as is the case here it is better to maybe postpone revealing that evidence until much later in the process and thats what they did. But as accused cop killers Ramon Williams and Carlton Hicks sat at the defense table, the lawyers waived the preliminary hearing. It is a tragic case. The Wilson Family certainly is suffering. And i can, you know my heart goes out to them which is part of the reason we did what we did today. Reporter what Defense Attorneys wanted to avoid was playing the graphic march 5th shootout video from inside the north philadelphia game stop. It is graphic. It is violent. It is brutal. But at the same time it is heroic. Multiple shots are exchanged, Police Officer wilson is in the corner. He has no cover whatsoever. There are multiple civilians crouched down hiding fearing for their lives behind the counter. Reporter it is why Defense Attorneys are now openly contemplating a plea deal. Certainly my client would is cooperating and would be amenable to agreeing to something with the District Attorneys Office. Reporter we did ask the District Attorneys Office about the possibility of any kind of deal. The man owned the truck involved in the accident on i295 in mount laurel sunday. Investigators arent saying any more about his possible connection to the crash. A man in that truck died. Do you recognize this bearded man . Police in delaware say he robbed an Artisans Bank in wilmington last week. The armed man confronting a bank teller, tee teller, demanded cash and ran off after she gave him money. A fire started near the freezers in the back of the building there. Firefighters still trying to figure out what caused the fire here at the buckeye tavern in lower macungie township. The owner says he hopes to rebuild the nearly three centuries old building. A flight from philadelphia to europe was diverted to canada because someone on the plane died. The American Airlines flight was on its way to frankfurt, germany, when it changed course to newfoundland. Were told someone on the plane died of a heart attack. The airline put passengers up on the hotel before they could be booked on another flight. New information on the deadly derailment of the amtrak train in philadelphia some eight days ago. Federal investigators confirm they now have the cell phone reports of the engineer at the controls. Nbc 10s Deanna Durante has been reviewing a report just released by investigators. Reporter the ntsb says the engineer of that amtrak train had used his cell phone, made calls, sent Text Messages the day the train derailed. However, they say, they are still working to confirm whether or not he was using that phone at the time he was operating the train. Also today, the Police Commissioner of philadelphia says at this point, his detectives have not sent anything to him that shows him there was any criminal activity involved. Right now im not aware of anything that is going to result in criminal charges, but it is possible. I mean a d. A. Can review this. There could be something im not aware of. That would lead to that. Reporter philadelphias Police Commissioner says he has not yet been notified of blood or toxicology results of brandon bostian. He confirms the department got a subpoena for the blood and cell phone records. It has possession of the cell phone and records show calls were made texts were sent and dat qua wasa was used but the ntsb cannot say if the phone was used while being operated. The ntsb says crews in philadelphia completed most on seen documentation and will talk with survivors of the crash in order to determine what injuries were sustained and how that correlates with where the passengers were sitting on board the train. The ntsb also says it will look at how the passengers were able to evacuate the train so it issue recommendations for future rail safety. Reporter police tell us the ntsb is the lead on this case and theyre assisting its investigators. The commissioner says if detectives here determine there is any criminal activity it will be sent to the District Attorney for him to review. Tomorrow, were going to see the rain coming in especially south of philadelphia it is going to be the coldest. 57 parts of delaware. 64 in the Lehigh Valley. Warmer in the poconos than in delaware. Officials respond to a 12 story Apartment Building for reports of animal cruelty. A kitten named lilac was rescued after falling from the balcony. The cat suffered multiple injuries. Look at what future weather shows right now. Were in the 60s overnight. Were going to keep dropping down some areas north and west in the 40s. Most of the area in the low 50s. Tomorrow afternoon, upper 50s or low 60s for most of the area with the rain. It is going to be a chilly rainy day for much of the area.
