Reporter yeah, jim, the initial details of that september 19th incident were unsettling enough. But that intruder made it passed the stairway that led right up to the president s residence. Even in this shaky cell phone video, you can tell something is wrong as an intruder races across the white house lawn and up the front stechs. Tonight, we know that breech was even more serious, even deeper than first reported. Its clear that something needs to be done and something needs to be done drastically. When the incident happened 10 days ago, the secret service says Omar Gonzalez was stopped just inside the front door. In fact, nbc confirmed today he ran the lawn to the front door with no dogs chasing and no guns fired. He overpowered a Uniformed Secret Service officer and no alarm sounded because it had been muted. Inside the white house, gonzalez went passed stairs that led to the obama family residence and went towards windows at the opposite end. Gonzalez carried only a knife but had 800 rounds of ammo inside his car. Just like anybody else, youre going to say oh, my god, the white house. Michael hall sees another side, too. He spent years in security at phillys federal buildings and says the real problem is not the initial breech of that outer fence. Its the response that followed. The biggest question would be how did he make it all the way to the white house. Did something happen . Was somebody on a bathroom break . Was somebody smoking a cigarette . Acmes parent company, albertsons, says shoppers credit and debit card information may have been stolen. The company says it found Malicious Software on systems used to process the cards in august and early september. It could have happened in pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware along with other albertsons and Supervalue Stores across the country. It doesnt believe Customer Data was stolen but gave this warning. If you used your credit or debit card in a potentially affected store between june 27th or august and september this year, you should monitor your credit and debit card account and promptly contact the bank if you see suspicious activity. Tonight, a Philadelphia Police officer is under investigation for an attack on his female parter in. Internal affairs called offices into the 18th Police District to get answers to questions. We have more on this Domestic Violence case. Reporter an officer who works at the center of an internal affairs investigation, involving an alleged attack while on the job against his own partner according to sources. It was an incident that took place on friday fight. So an original officer was assaulted by another police officer. Reporter the incident happened not far from the 18th district headquarters in philadelphia. The fight is being investigated as a possible domestic dispute. The office had facial injuries that included fractures and bruising. She saugt treatment at a hospital for her injuries. Internal affairs was notified and sources say they stepped in over the weekend at the 18th. Any time you have a situation like this, its very serious and the department looks at it in a very serious way. Its not something thats going to be taken lightly. That was police in Camden County say a man was shot and killed inside a home in camden. It happened at about 8 00 here on thurman street. Parents have been looking for answers to the death of a preschooler in mercer county. Emotions ran high. They want to know what killed a fouryearold boy last week who suffered some type of respiratory illness. This scare has prompted some parents to stop sending their children to school. Police say the young boy and his mom were struck by a septa bus here on washington avenue. Delores says her son was conscious and crying. Asking his mommy to just get up. But sheena died at the scene. Her 8yearold son was rushed to chop. You see cuts and bruises, his life eye nearly shut. Family members say hell require a wheelchair, but say its nothing compared to the emotional scarring. In the meantime, the white family is asking for donations to cover medical expenses. An accused thief at parx casino has been charged after leading police on a wild chase today. David breslin was caught stealing cars from the casinos parking lot shortly after 1 00 this afternoon. He led them on a high speed chase. Police say breslin was driving a stolen vehicle and broke into cars at the casino several times in the past few days.
