This is eastbound around the blue route. The right lane is closed. No restrictions. Eastbound drive time from the blue route to the vine still 13 minutes. Speeds are into the high 50s on the westbound side. Theres reports of a road obstruction in norriston. Ill have on a update in the next ten. Now to the breaking news were following this morning. Rescue crews are searching for a missing egypt airplane that van fished from radar late last night with 66 people on board. The plane, an airbus 320, was entering egyptian air space headed to cairo from paris. Katy zachry is live in our Digital Operation Center following late, breaking developments. Weve gotten a lot of new information within the last hour. Thats absolutely right. While some agencies like the Associated Press are reporting that the plane has crashed, we just got new information from the egyptian Prime Minister that it is too early to confirm that the plane has crashed. Now, egyptair 804 had just entered egyptian air space when it disappeared from radar. Were learning 66 passengers and crew members were on board, including some small children. Were being told no americans were on that flight. It disappeared from radar at 2 45 a. M. Egypt time. Egyptian authorities have told nbc news that Search Operations are under way over the mediterranean sea. This aircraft is an airbus 320, one of the most reliable planes youll find in the skies these days. Comes up at 4 30, youll hear why investigators are considering terrorism at this early stage in the game, given how unusual it is for a plane of that aircraft, airbus 320, to have problems from the sky. It was at an altitude of 37,000 feet. It is highly unusual for an aircraft of that type to have issues at that altitude. So were going to look more into that, and well have an aviation expert weigh in on these latest developments coming up in the next 25 minutes. Katy, thanks. Its 4 04. Happening today, one of the teen girls charged in the death of a classmate after a fight in the bathroom at a school is scheduled to appear in court. Authorities charged zion snow with conspiracy. Police say snow and two other girls beat up Amy Joyner Francis at Howard High School of Technology Last month. Joyner francis later died. Snow is expected in family court this morning. Donald trump will visit Mercer County later today as a favor to new jersey governor chris christie. The Presumptive Republican president ial nominee will appear with christie at the Lawrenceville National Guard armory. The event will raise money to help christie pay off debt from his own president ial run. Trump will also attend a separate fund ratzer for new jerseys republican party. Meantime, trump used the word rape regarding a decades old allegation against bill clinton. He made the comment in a fox news interview. In cumberland county, the Community Came together to remember three High School Students who died in two separate car crashes. People packed bridgeton high schools football stadium last night. They paid tribute to the three students. Mosley and sutton died saturday after a postprom. It means a lot, for each and every family. Two other students who suffered injuries in last weekends crash remain in the hospital. State police are still investigating the cause of that accident. Today in delaware county, family, friends, and colleagues of a priest and teacher will push the cause for his sainthood. Theyll speak to students in drexel hill today about father bill atkinson. He broke his spine in 1965 and spent his lived a a quadriplegic. Atkinson was ordained in the 70s. He died in 2006. The u. S. Conference of catholic bishops has endorsed his cause for sainthood. Officials in Burlington County credit an app and good train weeketraining with those who suffer from cardiac arrest. How does this app work . Reporter tracy, who would think wed be at the age where were saving a cell phone app to save a life . But really, thats the idea. Burlington county started using pulse point late last year in november. That app connects 911 dispatchers to people who are trained in cpr. The goal is if someone calls 911 and reports an unconscious person with no pulse, an alert will go out asking for those who are trained to respond and hopefully start cpr even before the ambulance gets there. The science has shown that the most important factor to saving a life of someone who has stopped breathing and does not have a pulse is early cpr. The problem we have is that many of our people do not know cpr in our communities. Burlington county, camden county, they do not know cpr. Just a small amount reporter so in the past six months since they started using this app, more people have been learning cpr. There are even free cpr classes held every month here at the Emergency Services Training Center in westampton. Were going to look more at this app, giving you a closer look at how it works. A new study finds 40 of patients with advanced melanoma were alive three years after the treatment of the drug. It allows immune cells to find tumor cells and destroy them. Certain group of patients whose tumors will shrink. Theres a certain percentage where it will stop the tumors from getting any bigger. Doctors are not calling it a cure, and it does not work for everyone. We are stuck in a pattern with temperatures in the 40s and 50s again today. Clouds are still overhead. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is expected to sign a bill that could require firsttime dui offenders to use ignition interlock systems. Yesterday the Senate Unanimously passed the measure. It requires firsttime dui offenders with a blood alcohol level of 1. 0 or higher to use a breath Monitoring System for a year instead of losing their license. The device will not allow a vehicle to start if the driver has been drinking. Under the current law, repeat dui offenders must use the ignition interlock system. Meantime in atlantic city, leaders have postponed a vote that would allow people to carry open containers of alcohol on the board waurk. The city council tabled the issue for more discussion.
