Reporter they are working on that this morning and putting on detective caps to try to figure out exactly how it spread and who these people, the suspected cases have been in contact with and trying to figure out through interviews who they have been around and where they have been so they can kind of head off the spread of mumps in the area. The first was in Iredell County, another one in Mecklenburg County, those are the two confirmed cases of mumps but that number may be bigger, Officials Say there are six other cases that are probable, or suspected like you were talking about and those cases surfaced also in Mecklenburg County and Iredell County but also Cabarrus County.
