If he didnt doesnt get that, it goes to the second ballot and then to the third. This is how Abraham Lincoln became president. Those are the rules. The republican rules say if you dont win eight states your name cant be on the nomination. Nobody gets to 1237, but all kasichs delegates are free on the first. Thats a good question. If he gets to the convention, he hasnt won the majority and the name cant be placed in the nomination according to the rules.
