Realize this violence does not live in the past. But who ill the former Vice President drew an oization in birmingham, some critics continued to say, so what . Wa pointing to bidens accumulating gaffes on race as recently as this weeks democratic debate and questioning if his service to the nations first black president is enough to make him the candidate for black america. Joining me now, republican strategist and msnbc political analyst susan del percio and host of open mind on pbs, alexander heffman. Alexander, good speech in terms of setting a tone, but short on specifics of what hes going to do if terms of closing the racial wealth gap, the gap ratio gap in education on and on and on. Right. There was a big omission. That is the United States Supreme Court. Were seeing today the confluence of race and gender and corruption again with kavanaugh in the news. The real why it the he attacked racism and big ought try. You have to attack it formally and informally. Weve seen the explosion of bigotry from the president s twitter account to bots and controls that explode in racist innuendo, explicit hate speech on the web. That was an animateing intoture of 2018. We have to be honest about the United States Supreme Court. I think the Vice President has to be talking about justice from the point of view of americans concerned about fought just extremism but inequity. We have two Supreme Court justices ensnared in scandal. One who came out with a memoir as recently as this last week who basically omits slavery. He thinks originalism is constitutionalism today, no its not if you discount the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments, he has to talk about this defacto injurae, otherwise we will have a Supreme Court who disenfranchises ohio and chief roberts sanctioned that, sanctioned taking folks off the rolls because they didnt vote. Susan, i think his speech who, if general in terms of attracting some black voters, the polls say hes way ahead with black voters. But in the primaries, i think hes going to have to get that specific around Supreme Court and the other things that i raised because hes running against other candidates that have been specific in the primaries. In terms of democratic vote. Thats exactly right, rev. He has competitors. There are going to be people who are going to run against him, who say, what are you going to do about this today and tomorrow . Well even give you a chance to erase part of your past or now talk about it. But youre not giving action. Are you not motivating people to come out and vote. Yes as you said, the africanamericans are strongly behind biden right now. But those are older africanamericans. Thats where that break is coming in. If there is any appeal to a younger jen reagan that can be harmful for biden. Again this being a general election strategy. Biden feeds off two polls that come toke. Which is who is most likely to beat President Trump . Whos the best person . And when biden wins that race handily, it helps him in his standing among primary voters. Thats where were seeing that. Also another thing to look at when we look at primary voters this year, turnout will be a lot different. I think its going to be a much larger tourn turnout we saw if 2018. He may get away with going to more moderates who show up in order to find his path. I think i agree with both of them of those points, alex. I think also when you look at we raised during this Campaign Things like reparations, which he did not answer in the debate at all the other night and weve had, when i had Action Convention this year, 14 candidates came. He was not running yet. Every one of them said they would sign a bill for a study on reparations thats being proposed. Hes not talked about any of the specific ways he would close the race gap and i think that he can get there, maybe today he wanted to just set a tone. But hes going to have to do more than tone setting because of his own history with statements about bussing and other things that the crime bill of 94, these things hes going to have to specifically address. He cant come across as unaware of the economic plight in reality and the disempowerment and thats why reparations in the context of a 2019 democratic president ial primary debate is still so relevant because of the inequity and the lack of the immobility, the lack of economic mobility, not just for africanamerican villages but all africanamericans. He has a vision of furthering the legacy of president obama and acknowledging the new generations challenges. He has to resonate like Elizabeth Warren has. I think Elizabeth Warren by tapping into the economic sensibility has the potential to couple the economic concerns. Warren also too you have buttigieg with the douglas plan that hes proposed. Youve had other candidates come very specific. If you look at the polls of black voters, i think we just had the to grab up hes 51 with black voters as opposed to the closest one to Bernie Sanders is almost half that, 22 , Kamela Harris 10 . He is going to have to, though, be specific, because i would imagine the other candidates when we go into the next debate are going to really challenge him on specifics, which again he did not answer the other fight. They asked about the question was about reparations. He started talking about other things. Record players. And i had young people say to me, it was at an hbcu college, i had students say to me what is a record player . You have a whole generation dont know what a record player is . I still say i tape things. But to your point, rev, you also have folks like Elizabeth Warren who is on the uprise. Shes ticking up right now. And the difference i think between her and joe biden right now is she is looking to the african community, Africanamerican Community and saying i really want your vote. Im going to be here and listen to you. And aggressively going after it. And aggressively having a back and forth. Where at some point we see that joe biden is there because he knows he has to be and there is a big difference in that. I think you raised something earlier, susan, that is going to be interesting. And that is the electability question becomes questioned if in the early caucuses he doesnt do well and someone like an Elizabeth Warren if she consistently upsets iowa and given she may win New Hampshire does that all switch . And i think that thats the gamble that hes making. But lets switch topics. President trump is defending the Supreme Court Justice Brett kavanaugh today after new allegation of Sexual Misconduct resurfaced in a story by the new york times. Which nbc news has just confirmed. Now we have three 2020 candidates, Elizabeth Warren, Kamela Harris and Julian Castro calling for kavanaugh to be impeached. Susan. Yeah, its interesting theyre calling for kavanaugh to be impeached, yet some wont go there necessarily with President Trump. They tone talking about impeachment there. These are troubling allegations. In this point, though, we have to have the facts laid out and if there is going to be action taken, so be it. But it has to be iron clad. This is something that can without being able hammer down can really further divide our country and actually could have some backlash against the democrats as a result. But also, alex, you would have to put in the whole review of this, is did the investigation was it in some ways ordered or by their own devices decided not to investigate the way you had some bad conduct by some of the people in the Justice Department who should have pursued these leads . And also the question of financial impropriety. The idea that in, was there a quid pro quo in paying off kavanaughs debt and appointing him to the bench. You know, of course, Supreme Court justices historically have given recommendations to presiding president s over who they might knot nominate. This story has a bunch of layers. Its corruption, its also not the merit of kavanaugh. Its judging based on the jurisprudence of the court. If it will deny power and franchise opportunity to people based on their race in this case, a court with for such and kavanaugh, versus a court with garland and who might be a future democrats nominee. That matters, too. The personal attacks on kavanaugh, we could go more legitimately i think on personal and professional attacks on barr. Impeachment is not valuable when you cant convict. At this point theyre not going to be able to convict. We were talking before we got on the show, rev, that governs matt nompb nance matters. Governance matters. One thing when you look at the kavanaugh case, there is talk about did the fib if ib do their job . When you question that and donald trump will go, hes doubling down on kavanaugh and everything was done right. But because of what donald trump has done to this country over the last twoanahalf years take away our faith in our institution, like the judicial system, like the fbi, now people are wondering maybe donald trump, maybe they were manipulated, so we have to think long and hard because we really do rely on those institutions that most people in government do want to do the right thing. I agree with that. But i also wondered with the callbase supporters of donald trump, the fact that he is saying and doing things and the Supreme Court justices in question, specifically kavanaugh, are dealing with leaning very right in terms of roe versus wade, Voting Rights and all, do they even care about the improprieties . No, all they care is keeping kavanaugh, whatever the president says they want him to keep. All they care about is staying as far into that base. All they want to do is support the president. This is an issue when it comes to Supreme Court or guns and a couple of other issues where trump voters and his base get excited. The actually creates excitement for donald trump and pushes him further into the election cycle. So thats where i mean because he had run basically a candidacy and so far his presidency as u. S. Against them. We want somebody to be the enemy and i sense you are saying, alex, dont give them an easy win by going after an enemy that you really cant do anything about. Right. Exactly. But also we need to, in the media, own up to this idea that is this Supreme Court legitimized or not . Because so far the way decision versus come down, you know, we have adhered to the normal procedure with the court. But the court is not normal. Its not in a normal place that denies the will of the people, the majority of this country. So i think every democratic kth candidate. The court didnt come up, roe v wade. The court is the most form. The most essential form of governance here as the arbiter of constitutionality and legitimacy and the democrats cant afford to ignore it. All right. I will have to leave it there. Thank you, susan andal xander. Coming up, the three long shot candidates challenging President Trump will go headtohead in a debate online later this month. But in a handful of states, they wont even be able to get on the ballot. We will talk live with one of those recoveries and hopefuls, former South Carolina governor mark sanford next. Former South Carolina governor mark sanford is now the third person announcing a run against trump for the 2020 republican nomination. And in the early weeks of his candidacy, hes already taken issue with his own party. Sanford along with former governor bill weld and former congressman joe walsh wrote a Washington Post oped this week calling out the gop in four states for can selling their republican primaries and caucuses for the next election. They write, quote what does this say about the Republican Party . If a party stands for nothing but reelection, it, indeed, stands for nothing. Our next nominee must compete in the marketplace of ideas, values and leadership. Each of us believes we can best lead the party. So does the incumbent. Let us each take our case to the public. Joining me now, mark sanford, the former u. S. Congressman and governor of South Carolina, governor, let me ask, why do you feel these four states have cancelled the caucuses and primaries and what does this say to the Republican Voters that would vote in those primaries and caucuses in those states . Well, youve seen those end of football sessions where they drop a knee and they just cover the ball and youve seen if basketball games where they go to the different corners, this is it. That irjust trying to protect the bahama. Theyre trying to protect the president. They dont want to have a contest of ideas in those states. I think its ultimately harmful for the voters, for instance, in regular South Carolina where i live. Do you think this is orchestrated by the president or this, those state leaders, Party Leaders, that are doing this on their own because they want to show their loyalty to the president . Well, put it this way, i dont think theyd be doing it if the president didnt want them to be doing it. One thing thats become abundantly clear in as much as people say the Republican Party is the party of donald j. Trump these days, Party Leaders are not going off on a whim and say ill do this, though the president might not want me to do so there is either a tacit understanding or a direct understanding. Now, whats interesting ability your candidacy is i am hearing from many quarters that you are probably the bigger threat to the president because you come from the right. You dont disagree with a lot of positions on the right. But at the same time, you are challenging this president. Why . Well, a couple different reasons. I mean, i mean i think the Republican Party and as it being led by the president has lost its way on death, deficit and deposit spending. That used to be a benchmark of what the Republican Party was supposedly about. And i think the president is taking us in the wrong direction there. I think as well, though, i saw it in this congress am district right here on the coast, you know i think there is something you can say the right thing. You say it in the wrong way, it just has no effect. So take for instance this district right here on the coast of South Carolina thats been republican for about 50 years, because of the president s tone, soccer moms, working women, young millennials, in droves went the other direction, as a consequence this district went democrat for the first time in about 50 years. So i think the president s tone is off. I mean i can go through a number of Different Things, but there are different Building Blocks that advance parties and ultimately the ideas that they stand for. I think we are missing a number of those Building Blocks. Is it the president s tone . Is it the president s policies . Is it a combination . Its a combination of those things. As you know i think hes misguided for instance on trade. A lot of boats go in and out in charleston. We are seeing a direct impact. The farmers in iowa see some impact. Though they have a immediate relief of what the chinese have done. Its a combination of policies that dont make sense, particularly on the spending front as well as the issue of tone, which i think has turned a lot of folks off. Now one of the things we had heard pretrump, which seems like such a long time ago, was that the party was reaching out more to people of color, blacks and others. What happened to that . I mean, it seems as though the party is just in many ways abandoned that altogether, explain to me how you feel about that and whether you think thats a mistake . Its a hostage mistake. You know when i was governor, i actually had the firsting aen american chief of staff in south cloip history. I had more africanamerican cabinet members than any other republican or governor in South Carolina history. Ki go down a long Different Things i tried to do affirmatively, including different voices in the process. So i think its a big mistake. I think one of the things that happens is that people go every four years and they say, why dont we go after black folks, chinese folks, hispanic folks, down the list. You cant do that. You cant build a relationship if you just focused on election time so one of my best friends is lonnie randolph, the head of the naacp here in south clone. We have 19 e known each other for years. Yeah, i know lonnie. Its not a relationship that begins at election time. Its got to begin day one during your time in office and you grow it. So i think one just focusing on different constituencies election time is a mistake and two not building relationships over time is a mistake. Thats in essence was the party is doing right now with regard to africanamericans. Now its been said often that President Trump has made this the trump party that the Republican Party has totally fallen apart and doesnt represent things like you said, like dealing with the deficit, deeming with trade, can if if donald trump is reelected, can the party be rebuilt . I mean, are we looking at the possibility of the Republican Party being destroyed if donald trump is reelected and continues to operate in a way like its almost a political cult to a person . Yeah, i think there would be lasting damage. You think of any brand out there, i dont know what kind of toothpaste you use or deodorant you use. You use it because you got used to using it. It becomes a habit over time. So the same is true with the political party. You get used to using something. You sayoc, thats my group. That itself who i affiliate with. This is a church i go to. This is a civic club im a part of. People get used to, that itself where they are. If you all of a sudden people get turned off in droves, which is what i saw again happen right here in the coast of South Carolina, they do not come back immediately. So i think this is about branding and its about brand loyalty that develops over time. I think there are consequential damages to the party over time if we stay on the road that were on right now, which is why im running. While i do use the same but if my teeth started falling out, i would switch. Amen. Thank you for coming on tonight. But on wednesday while the rest of the nation was waking up to the 18th i was in of the september 11th terrorist attacks, republicans in North Carolina statehouse were busy terrorizing democracy pushing a surprise Early Morning vote to override the budget veto of governor roy cooper while barely half of state legislatures were present. Thats because democrats in the statehouse said they were told there would be no votes that morning. With the Democratic House leader insisting he was told as much by our colleagues across the aisle, as you can see from the video behind me, state democrats were furious about the power play. But the Republican House speaker wasnt hearing that, contending that the budget was always on the calendar and that there was no promises made that a vote wouldnt happen. For Governor Cooper and democrats, its the biggest shock thus far of an ongoing bucket battle. One fought largely over republicans refusal to expand medicaid in a state ranking 10th in uninsured residents. But the ncop, your desperation is showing and its from the bottom up. Because while, yes, a republican did win in one of your special Congressional Elections this week, that candidate dan bishop scrapped by with a twopoint victory in a state that President Trump carried by 12 points just three years ago. And thats after the president personally lowered the states iq by flying in for a probishop rally and, of course, taking all the credit for the win. And our own nbc News Analysis suggests that suburban white forth clone voters lost to republicans in last years midterms aint coming back. So keep it up, tarheel republicans. Yes, you got the congressional win, but you will need at least one Democratic State senator to make your override official. Good luck with that. Because who would sense would go through all the trouble just to hear this from voters come reelection time. I dpogotcha. I dpogotcha managing lipids like very high triglycerides, can be tough. And this weekend, they received a very important cosign from eric holder, the former u. S. Attorney general under president obama, who said that based on the mueller report, there are certainly ground for impeachment. This comes as a handful of pod rat House Democrats are reportedly warning Speaker Nancy Pelosi that theyre pursuing impeachment may undercut their hopes of reelection in 2020. Joining me now from washington, democratic congresswoman gwen moore of wisconsin, shes also an esteemed member of the Congressional Black Caucus. Congresswoman, let me start with the congress am black caucus. We just finished the annual Congressional Black Caucus weekend. What are the take aways that you come out of there with 55 members of the Congressional Black Caucus, the largest amount of black members of congress in history. What are some of the headline plans that have come out of this caucus and the things that you take out of the events of the weekend . Well, let me just say this, i realize this is your show, im going to hijack it by starting off to congratulate you for getting the herald washington phoenix award, so deserved. The Harold Washington award is for those folk who have moved africanamericans that have created Political Awareness empowerment and you have been doing this since you were a tween. And no one deserved it more. I loved it when you told us you had uponished us politicians that if we arent ready to fight, we just need to go home. And to all your critics who say, oh, reverend al, you have only done this for publicity. I loved it. I screamed when you said you know eric garners mama gwen carr and sabrina fuller trained by martins mom, they didnt say i got a secret for you, they killed my sons and i want you to be quiet about it. I am ready to fight and that is what i think it has been the whole take away from this weekend. 400 years after slavery, its time for us to fight and if were not ready to fight, we just need to go home. That understand for that word, rev. Thank you. And i think that did encaps lies what the weekend was with caucus members. Let me ask you about impeachment. Do you think its time to fight to move forward with these impeachment inquiries and possibly until formal impeachment proceedings . Well, let me just say to you, reverend al, if i had had it my way, wed have impeached this president a long time ago. But i am aware of the fact that many people are, even folk who despise donald trump are very, very concerned about things like their Prescription Drug costs. More than once i had to pay for someones Prescription Drugs because they hadnt been able to afford it. They are concerned we are going to focus on that and some of the things that they really care about and, of course we have, i just got a laundry list of things right here, rev. We voted to lower Prescription Drugs and healthcare costs. Weve passed the equality act leaning into the needs of lbgtq folk. We have done comprehensive work around reforming the election process and on and on, passed the violence against womening a. Done pension reform, paycheck fairness, climate action, stuff on dreamers and tps, and raising the minimum wage. And folks dont think that we can do that and impeachment inquiries at the same time. But i think that we demonstrated that we can do both. Rev, we cannot normalize the not just the behavior of this president , but he is putting us, our democracy and our nation at risk with his actions and behaviors. And i think its extremely important that we continue with the impeachment inquiry because its our constitutional responsibility and our constitutional duty. In addition to what we have already done. And i would just remind folk that weve done this and all of these bills that i just mention reasonable doubt over there in Mitch Mcconnells graveyard in the senate. Let me ask this. You are a congresswoman from wisconsin, wisconsin went for donald trump, was one of the three states that gave him the Electoral College edge. What has to happen for the democrats to win wisconsin in your opinion, no one is on the ground more than you in the congress. What has to happen in wisconsin to bring out the votes that could change that Electoral College vote in 2020 in your opinion . Well, ill tell you, rev, we have got to fight. Weve got to do what reverend jackson, one of your mentors have said. We got to go around and pick up the rocks. We got to let people know with ecare about them. This is not just about defeating donald trump, this awful person. But this is about moving our agenda forward. We cannot hope to lower the costs of Prescription Drugs. I mean, my exxon if law you know died, age 53, for lack of healthcare. This is what people are concerned about. We have got to raise the minimum wage. We have got to let people know what they stand to lose by not voting. We cant just say, oh, lets impeach him. You know, because he engaged with porn stars. Weve got to let people know who is at stake. We got to hit the streets and bring people to the polls in ways that weve never done it. Om gwen moore. The fateing congresswoman from wisconsin. Thank you. And thank you again, rev, for all of your hard work. We, this was so, we should have done this so long ago to give you the honor. Thank you. Up next, well take a look at how the issue of Climate Change disproportion natalie affects communities of color. Well be right back. Affects communities of color well be right back. Guys, i want you to meet someone. This is jamie. Youre going to be seeing a lot more of him now. Im not calling him dad. Oh, nno. Look, [sighs] i get it. The political conversation around Climate Change is as loud as its ever been. But its a conversation that all too often excludes the unique environmental conditions plaguing communities of color where evidence has found air pollution to be more rampant. What a surprise more likely to be contaminated and cancercausing wastes are in some cases literally produced across the street. But even then, thats a mostly urban kind of decision overlooking the thousands of blacks and browns americans living near rivers on the gulf of mexico or on the southeast coast, their livelihood and culture depending on the help of our increasingly polluted waters. As we join the rest of npc news for our climate in crisis week of programing, i want to remind our viewers that those with the least to lose stand to feel the most pain from Climate Change. Joining many enow a National Field director for Moms Clean Air force and a former epa region administrator under president obama and dr. Ayana elizabethionson, a marine biologist and founder of ocean collective. Dr. Johnson, i know you specialize in the health of our oceans and waterways and the communities that depend on that depends on that i know you saw this week the Trump Administration went after another obama environment am protection. This one protecting certain waterways from big business, but also endangering Water Supplies for again people depending on them. Of course, flint, michigan and neuralgic, new jersey come to mind, but also black communities that rely on fishing in the gulf or South Carolina, for example. Is that right . Yes, it is. This is cause for concern, obamy instration had expanded protections for waterways under the clean watering a. The waters of the United States definition is what is at stake here and how expansive that will be. And so the Trump Administrations curtailing of that means that a lot of wetlands and other streams will no longer have federal protection and as we all know, those waters connect to larger rivers and connect to the sea and so what happens on land affects the ocean and wetlands because we are here during a week where we are focused on climate, wetlands can absorb five times more carbon in their soil . Five times more core bonn . Than of tropical rainforests. Theyre hugely important to protect the ones we have, to actually restore wetlands and replant them. So i dont think its commonly understood, but there is a race gap even in the air we breathe. A recent study from the university of minnesota earlier found that because of where many black communities are located, black americans are exposed to 56 more air pollution than they produce. On the other hand, white americans were exposed to 17 less air pollution than they produce. What does that mean for the lungs of black americans . Referred al, it means one thing, black americans are more at risk and as mothers, its incumbent on us to make sure we are protecting all of our children. Over half of the americans live in the south. Africanamerican children are four times more likely to go to the hospital for an asthma attack and ten times more likely to die of that same asthma attack than white children. Wow. At Moms Clean Air force we understand that climate and air issues, this is a social Justice Movement and issue. Thats why we are bringing toke black white mothers to look at this as a Public Health issue that we must address for the saeflt of our children. Its critical for this time. No one can escape dealing with climate. This is not optional. So why havent we seen more of a movement in your opinion, dr. Johnson, in the black Community Around this vital issue . I mean, this is not something that has anything to do with whether youre republican, democrat, progressive, or conservative. Why havent we seen more of a groundswell. This is the one issue or one of the rare issues from which your wealth cannot protect you. And so in addition to that lack that youre describing, you cant buy a clean air. You can buy better education, you can buy better food, Better Health care, but you cant buy a better climate. And so i actually do want to counteract this misunderstanding that people of color dont care about the environment. Dont care about climate. Because we have actually seen in polling that black people and communities of color more generally are much more supportive of strong Climate Policy than their white counterparts. Like over 50 for people of color and 22 for their white counterparts. And that gap is growing. And so i think people of color get it. As heather mentioned, you know, these are people on the front lines. They see the bad air quality. They know that their water is polluted, and so you know that its important to prioritize addressing it. I think the lack of a big Public Movement thats led by people of color is in part because theres so many other issues facing communities of color. But nothing more basic than the air we breathe and the water we drink. Talking about that poll. According to polling by the Pew Research Center last year 54 of people of color think Climate Change should be addressed by the federal government. Heather, what do we do to keep pushing that out front, and what you have been a mayor, i believe, of greenville, mississippi. You have been in the epa administrator. What specific policies ought to be rallied around to deal with this . You know, right now, theres a great opportunity for us. And thats with the 100 clean energy and Clean Energy Economy bill. Our very own greshman who is a member of the cbc, and we just had a great weekend, hes pushing forward some good legislation to push this country towards 100 clean energy. We need cosponsors on that bill. Every last one of us should be contacting our congressmen and saying, hey, you should really cosponsor and sign on with congressman mckeachm. This is coming out of the cbc, out of the Congressional Black Caucus and a great opportunity to get behind policy. I want to add one more thing. I think dr. Johnson is absolutely right. We have been a part of this movement. We just havent gotten the attention for it. Moms clean air force, we were down at the National Baptist convention in new orleans and had the opportunity to speak about 3,000 women with the womens auxiliary. If theres anything i know, its when the mothers board get behind something, you have something going on. The stories i heard from those mothers and from the church about how important this is and the things that theyre doing right now, lets me know theres a plummovement taking place. It just needs sunshine put on it. They have had an Environmental Justice program led by Jacqueline Patterson for 20 years now, and there is a lot of work, great work going on, and were going to see that elevated on the 20th this friday, theres a Global Climate strike thats largely led by youth, teenagers of color. So were seeing a total transformation of the movement, and a new generation coming in to lead as well, which is wonderful because we have just hit 85 environmental rollbacks by the Trump Administration. Just in the last two years, as tracked by the new york times. So there is no more important time to step up on this. All right. Im going to have to leave it there. Thank you, dr. Johnson and thank you, heather, for being on. Climate in crisis will air across nbc news, msnbc, telemun telemundo, and nbc digital. It runs from today through friday, september 20th. A lot of my work and a lot of the concerns of Many Americans is around Community Policing and accountability. Not being antipolice. Or saying that all must be accountable and the continued problem of police and community and shootings that seem to not be taken seriously is of paramount importance. Shootings of unarmed people and this interaction between those Police Departments that have a pattern of overlooking and really not investigating these particular situations when they occur. It is for that reason that the House Judiciary Committee hearings on policing this week, thursday the 19th of september, at 2 00 p. M. , is very important. When experts and victims and activists will testify before the House Judiciary Committee and the chairman jerry nadler. Giving different views and giving suggested legislative ways to try and bring a sense of accountability and fairness for both Law Enforcement and community residents. People should come and be on the hill for these hearings because we should not just react when there is a particular shooting or a particular incident. We should act to try and stop this feeling that no one is being held accountable in Law Enforcement and the feeling that Law Enforcement will not have people in the Community Work with them for safety and service of all americans. That does it for me. Thanks for watching. Ill see you back here next saturday at 5 00 p. M. Eastern. Up next, meet the press with chuck todd. This sunday, the democratic divide.
