A new National Poll shows donald trump outside the margin of error against Hillary Clinton. Showing clinton at 49 in a fourway race. Trump at 44 . Gary johnson dropped 4 points to 3 . Jill stein at 2 points. In a twoway race, clinton has a sixpoint at van, 5145. Monmouth University Poll shows a deadlocked race in North Carolina. Trump 47 , trump 46 . In battleground nevada, 7 points separate the candidates in the Las Vegas Review journal poll, clinton at 48 , donald trump at 41 . Donald trump tweeting, major stories that the dems are making up phony polls in order to suppress the trump vote. We are going to win. Then later talking to local radio in North Carolina and on the campaign trail florida he contended the race is neck and neck. I think were going to have a brexit situation. You know that one was behind in the polls and i guess im somewhat behind in the polls but not by much. I think we have a much greater a tremendous enthusiasm, much greater enthusiasm than she as. In case you havent heard, the new poll from investors business daily, the most accurate poll for the last three president ial elections by far, has us up 2 points nationwide, were leading, number one. I actually think were winning and what they do is they show these phoney polls where they look at democrats and its heavily weighted with democrats. And then theyll put on a poll where were not winning. And everybody says, oh, theyre not winning. Its a heavily weighted poll with democrats. Like the abc phony poll that just came out. Totally phony poll. They call them dark polls. They are phony polls put out by phony media. All of us are affected by this stuff. What they do is try and suppress the vote. This way people dont go out and vote. The only poll that matters is going to be finished on november the 8th. Theres a couple of National Polls, rasmussen, investors business daily, that have us leading. In North Carolina just today, fox reported that were only down 1 here in North Carolina. I got to tell you, Abraham Lincoln said memorably, believe nothing of what you hear and only half what was you see. What im seeing on the ground here in North Carolina, what donald trump and i saw in cleveland on saturday night, him in naples today in florida today, theres an enthusiasm on the ground like ive never seen in my lifetime. The Trump Campaigns skepticism of the polls is not extending to all of his allies. Yesterday conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said that he had been burned by rejecting the polls in the past. Theres nobody that wants these polls to be wrong more than i do. And in 2012, i sat here every day and told you they were wrong. I made a foolish mistake of assuming that every republican that can vote would vote. Because they were so fed up with obama and the economy. And as we learned later, there were anywhere from 2 million to 4 million republicans that didnt show up. I look at the external signs and the polls dont make any sense to me. So i dont know. Im not going to get caught in the trap again of automatically rejecting whats out there. Also last night, donald trump teed off on john podesta, Hillary Clintons Campaign Chairman in a pollster practice known as oversampling. Wikileaks also shows how john podesta, a man who speaks badly of hillary and everybody else, hes a nasty guy. John podesta rigged the polls by oversampling. He said do this. By oversampling democrats. A Voter Suppression technique. Trump appears to be referencing a 2008 email purportedly from tom natsy requesting poll oversamples. Oversampling is sometimes used to ensure there are enough members of a particular subgroup within a population to reduce the margin of error. Msnbc has not independently ver ride the information in the email. And accusing the Fourth Estate members of the press of trying to manipulate the election and more. I actually think were winning despite what you hear from these very dishonest people. These thieves and crooks, the media, not all of it, not all of it, but much of it. Without the media, Hillary Clinton would be nothing. When the people who control the political power in our society can rig investigations like her investigation was rigged, can rig polls, you see these phony polls, and rig the media, they can wield absolute power over your life, your economy, and your country. The naacp in mississippi is calling for a federal hate Crime Investigation after the parents of a black student accused a group of white students of putting a noose around their sons neck. Im alex witt alongside betty nguyen and lewisbuouis burgdorf the Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for a deadly attack on a pakistani Police Training center. At least 61 people are dead, 131 more injured after between four and six gunmen opened fire at that Police School located in the city of cueta. The gunmen later exploded suicide vests. A spokesman for the Pakistani Taliban says the attack was revenge for the judicial killing of militants in jails. While an official tells nbc news the attack emanated from afghanistan. Nbcs amon mow hah dean joins us now. This was a brazen attack. According to pakistani sources it began around 11 00 p. M. Monday local time when three attackers, one opening fire at the watchtower there, were able to penetrate their way into this police academy. There was about 700 recruits, most of them getting ready to go to bed. As you were saying those attackers, one of them was carrying a suicide vest, blew himself up, killing several of those young recruits aged between 15 to 25. The other two attackers went further into that compound and unleashed a barrage of gun fire before detonating their suicide vests. The general in charge of the counter operation said this entire counterterrorism operation lasted about three hours. It gives you a sense of the scope that unfolded over those terrifying hours for those police recruits. As you were talking you were saying there was a clernlging claim of responsibility. We know the pakistani government is telling us that they believe it emanated from afghanistan, an indication it perhaps might have been al qaeda or linked to the Pakistani Taliban inside their open country. Interesting 30 enough in the last couple of hours theres been a new claim of responsibility, unconfirmed by nbc news, but isis is now also claiming responsibility that it too has it too was behind that attack. So adding another layer of complexity to what were learning about this deadly incident. You bring up isis. With regard to the move to take mosul back from control of isis militants, it was ringed on three sides but it would seem that despite the progress theyve made some of these isis militants have moved to the western iraqi town . This is an Interesting Development on two fronts. As those Coalition Forces and Iraqi Forces Move on the eastern and northern part of mosul, there is still that lifeline between mosul and syria where isis stronghold and raqqah and its headquarters are believed to be. But the reports that are coming out this morning that isis was able to launch this counter offensive operation into the city of raqbah, overtaking part of it, that would be significant. It shows isis has the ability to launch counter offensive operations even though it is still being pressured by these Coalition Forces. There are also some reports, alex that about 250 or so fighters are coming in from syria to reinforce isisheld positions inside the city center of mosul. That is where theres going to be a big fight. Coalition forces have not made their way into the city center, isis is trying to reinforce those positions. There is analysis theyre kind of conceding outer lying cities to reinforce its mold on mosul itself for the fight in the next week or possibly even later. But the fact that they are still able to go beyond mosul, carry out operations in rutbah, that is significant. It requires resources to put that counterinsurgency town, at the same point it shows isis still has deadly capabilities despite being squeezed on other sides of that fight. Thanks for the update. A judge in pennsylvania sentenced kane to 10 to 23 months in prison for conviction on nine charges including peshlg and conspiracy. Kanes political downfall began two years ago when she leaked cough deshlg grand jury material to a newspaper in an attempt to embarrass a political opponent then lied about it under oath.
