we don't know whether it was done with malice or was done deliberately or if it was just sort of casual conversation. either way, these are matters that someone much smarter than me, someone with a sense of the law and record retention law probably does need to sort through to figure out if there's some sort of illegality they need to investigate. >> yeah. let me ask you about what the dccc is putting out in terms of democrats and what they need to do to help them in the mid terms, which is basically grow a spine. don't let the gop dictate the narrative of how these campaigns go. you got to push back more forcefully. how do you see that playing out? do you think that message was received well? >> it is an interesting point. you know, a couple of months back the head of the dccc was begging candidates to go on local media tours, 1,000 media hits to tout the infrastructure law and covid relief and then omicron hit and it put people on the defensive immediately. it is easy to grow a spine, but it doesn't mean you can control the context around you.
