americans regrouped at the bare barron hotel. they sent three chin knock helicopters over the wall of the hotel, picked the americans up, brought them back safely inside. the pernlt gone said this operation went smoothly. the helicopters did not come under fire. we don't know whether this was coordinated with the taliban or not. i also want to give you an update on some of the most dramatic images we've seen during this entire evacuation, a united states marine reaching over the razor wire atop the walls at the airport and grabbing an afghan baby from the desperate outstretched hands of its family from the crowd below. the marines says that baby is safe and well, treated inside the airport, and reunited with its family. we don't know quiet if that family has been evacuated.
