i think when we deprive experience, not only are we hurting the lgbtq youth from being able to see themselves in a book, but others from being able to put themselves none of those people's shoes and say, oh, this is what it's like. >> i really like that perspective, especially as i thought about that question a lot. back to your book, there's a lot of advice in there. what's the one thing you want young people to take away? >> i just want young people to know, especially trans youth that there's nothing wrong with you. it's a really tough world that we're living in right now. there's a lot of people who are afraid and they're acting on their fear. but you just need to be strong in yourself, lean on the people who love you, and let those voices be louder than the ones you're hearing saying you're not good enough. >> the book is called "hola papa." thank you so much for being here. americans are being hospitalized with covid, leading the cdc to push for more teens to get vaccinated. later, back to the maga
