Because i think as drawing is a foundation of all art, writing is the foundation of all journalism. And, in this medium where we use pictures to tell a story, bob could find the right words to make the picture even more powerful. So, i had Great Respect for him. Ill tell you for sure we will miss him around here. Im sure that you will. He was such a great talent as you mentioned a wonderful journalist and big loss for the cbs family. What else will you be covering on your show later on today. We have something really special this morning. Yesterday, i flew down to selma, alabama and walk across the edmond petus bridge with john lewis, that great iconic figure in the civil rights movement. When he led those marchers across that bridge back in the 1965 about 15 years ago next month. It was a turning point in the movement. They got to the bottom of that hill after they came accredits that bridge and there were people on horse back hundreds of them, literally who beat them with hammers and clubs. The public was so offended by that that it increased the pressure to do something about Voting Rights. As partly and largely as a result of that march, and the pictures of it, 1965 Voting Rights act was signed into law by Lyndon Johnson a real turning point. John lewis is a real hero of that movement. It was, i would call it an honor to get to walk across that bridge with him and ask him what he was thinking about that day. I enjoyed, you know some stories you cover some stories you really enjoy covering this one i was honored to be there and we walk the steps that those marchers took. We will look forward to. That thanks, been for the the preview. We appreciate it. Okay, we a appreciate it. 8 48. Lets send it over to carol.
