A violent night in the city of philadelphia five shootings happened leaving two people dead. Eyewitness News Reporter Syma Chowdhry is live at Police Headquarters, and with that story. Reporter this morning nicole Philadelphia Police are responding to shootings all night, oncefthey wrapped up one scene they had to head over to another shooting, five in total, two fatallal, one of them including a teenager. We will start with that information. Now that shooting happened a little after 11 00 oclock last night. 300 to 400 people were in the lot having a impromptu barbecue on North Franklin street where police dispersed a crowd. Ten shots were fired as people spilled over to the 700 block of montgomery street. A 16 yearold boy was taken to temple where he was pronounced dead. Nineteen yearold was also taken to temple and he is listed in Critical Condition. Now, the second Fatal Shooting happened outside a bar on the corner of germantown avenue and rising sun. A 24 yearold was walking down the street when he approached a group of people standing outside of a bar. He got in the confrontation with someone and was shot twice in the torso. He was taken to temple where he was pronounced dead there were three other shootings overnight a man is in Critical Condition at einstein after being shot near the 4600 block of mar vine street. Then around 11 30, two people are in the hospital after being shot on the 5500 block of north american street, and then another shooting, on the 1300 block of mckinley street, that one leaves one man in the hospital in stable condition. Police are saying it was a violent night. Police officers are always concerned when there is people being shot, so were always on guard and aware of the even requirement. Reporter again, police are continuing to investigate all five shootings, so far, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified. New this morning Philadelphia Police released Surveillance Video of the a suspect wanted for a Sexual Assault and robbery in writ even house square. Investigators tell us early yesterday morning a young doctor was walking home when she was attack from behind. Suspect forced that 26 yearold woman into her apartment, sexually assaulted her and then stole her iphone and keys. That victim is a doctor at the university of pennsylvania hospital. Just after midnight saturday morning when the 26 yearold victim a doctor at the hospital of the university of pennsylvania was coming home from a nearby bar. She told Police Suspect walked up, grabbed her neck and forced her inside where she was sexually assaulted. To think that someone would do that. Rittenhouse is a nice area too. That is surprising. Police in new castle county, delaware arrested 20 yearold james daniels. Daniels is charged with rape, robbery and possession of the the deadly weapon. Police say he punched a woman and forced her in the car where he allegedly sexually assaulted her and hit her with the baseball bat . When she escaped he reportedly drove off with belongings. Daniels remains jailed unable to post bail. Police are identifying a man wanted for allegedly robbing gun ranges in the city leaving a man critically injured. Jeffery chandler has the the word stretch tattooed on his righthand. His alleged accomplice has turned herself into police. They are accused of rubbing yuris gun range and shooting range, allegedly stealing nine handguns and then shooting a man. Well, this man is wanted for robbing three southwest philadelphia businesses, in six days. Now in each case the suspect entered the place, talks to the worker and pulled a gun from the right hip and demand canned. Surveillance video was taken inside the 56th street food market on thursday. So far no injuries have been reported. Well, we are learning the identity of the victim in fridays deadly collapse in cherry hill. Officials say that 38 yearold jose ortega of camden was killed during demolition of the old Blockbuster Video store on route 38 in cherry hill. Camden county investigators are still looking into how that collapse happened but preliminary reports indicate that it was accidental. Is there a problem likely there or when a behavior change that he is much, what is it. It sound like with this particular cat because it does sound like a behavioral issue to me. I cannot fault the vet for wanting to rule out a physical problem such as a gi upset or over active thyroid but this cat to me has behavioral issues. I think it needs to be retrained to the litter pan and that fails, there are some medications that can be used to try to calm this cat down. How long do you let Something Like this go before you go in for a veterinary intervention and how long can a cat go without eating before it becomes a real big problem. Well, police are investigating a deadly stabbing in philadelphias hunting park neighborhood. It happened saturday afternoon, and officers say that, a 37 yearold man was stabbed in the chest on the front porch of the home in the the 1300 block of erie avenue. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police say the suspect took off, down erie avenue. Well, police are looking for two men in connection with the deadly shooting in the northeast, a man in his 20s was pronounced dead just before 2 00 saturday morning. It happened at colgate and roselee street in lawncrest. His name has not been released and it is unclear what sparked that shooting. And crisis in iraq, where another keyboarder post has been seized. This is just so heart breaking. Twentyseven yearold amanda bush was tending bar friday when a big rig, hauling two decks of cars, crashed into simons restaurant. At least four others were hurt. The tractor trailer ended up 50 feet inside that building. The restaurants owner described that effort to save that victim. We tried to pull the bar away and unable to move it. Reporter from a distance easy to mistake this for a food truck but seven sides, and it is clear, no food here. Each of our buses has two complete bathrooms with showers, sink, toilet and small changing room. Reporter denise came up with converting old bus necessary to showers two years ago. She called the concept within shower at a time. It has been in the idea station and to see the the results is unbelievable. Reporter Great Recession drained a number of the shower facilities from ten to seven, forcing the homeless to put their names on waiting list just to clean up. Sandoval hopes to fill the gap city left behind, while helping the home less get back on their feet. Hygiene comes dignity and with dignity, opportunity. So hopefully it will open up other doors for people. It would help out a whole lot of people. Reporter crystal hearties home less and her dark days she has gone two weeks without a shower. And she says it feels like a vacation to step back in the shower again. It helped me a lot because it also got my mind back opened to, this isnt what you want to do. This isnt how you want to be. So you do have the resources to help yourself, so try to use them. Reporter that is what the the shower busies, another resource to tackle the cities growing number of homeless.
