And week starts with some rain but end of the workweek is worth the wait, meteorologist Matt Peterson has eyewitness Weather Forecast in just a few minutes kind of like this look. Im calling it the name your price tool phase. Whatever. Welcome back. National Constitution Center celebrated earth day. The donation was not only for earth day but in celebration of the deal ever ships 50th anniversary. Charles faulk where it was a great way for his family to give back to the community. Now just figure five years from now how beautiful these trees will look around this field, and these kid will be here playing, and, some kid will put one right over the fence, that would be a nice thrill, wouldnt it. Now the faulk family opened up their first car dealership in cherry hill in 1967. And matt, it was too lousy of a weather day to plant a tree, maybe today is a better day to do it. Some folks thought damp, dreary, i dont wanting to outside but make earth day to day and you can still do those Great Service projects, get out there, enjoy nice weather. Yesterday weather watchers were out, giving us great readings but there are a lot more folks, waking up earlier today and much nicer day to day. Taking a look what we are seeing across the viewing area , 37 degrees this morning. This coming from john jenkins in perkasie, a little bit chilly, north of the city as you might expect, what we have been dealing with all morning long. So light jacket, it is definitely needed early in the day but we will be watching nicely this afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Maybe even a chance, a chance to wear those tshirts later this afternoon. Much nicer sunday wrapping weekend up but slow moving system coming from the south east and up the eastern seaboard. That brings some rain and cooler temperature chances as we start the workweek and then returning to the 80s as we get toward thursday, and then closer to friday and saturday as well. Right in time for the draft we will get nicer weather. Temperatures beside what the weather watchers are seeing these are actual station readings right new we are seeing 44 in the trenton area. Fortyfive toward atlantic city. Fortysix in wildwood, and 30 s still up toward mount pocono. 36 degrees for you folks up there. A cool morning for us but i think we will take it compared to the damp, dreary weather we had yesterday morning. Even they temperatures were 10. We didnt have the sunshine. The upper level moisture is moving out, looking at some cloud cover across Central New Jersey but clearer skies taking over from philadelphia and definitely back off to the north and west, that is good news for us. Taking a look in the future here through the afternoon hours plenty of sunshine for the most part. We could see a few high cloud for our sunday afternoon but again, generally a sun filled day, warmer today up in the mid 60s. Now tonight, and into tomorrow morning, cloud cover will increase as our system gets a little bit closer. It stays down to the south, just enough that no precipitation is in the forecast for us tonight, and just some increasing cloud, but tomorrow a chance, anyway, small chance for some southern areas of new jersey, back down toward the southern shore points toward areas of cape may, wildwood, stray shower or two, rehoboth could get rain chances, tomorrow after in the afternoon. For those in Central New Jersey toward atlantic city, philadelphia and poconos no real rain chances for us budd in general, those areas further south could see a stray sprinkle. As we get through monday night and tuesday more cloud and it does look like a better chance of rain heading in to tuesday as well a cross the region 66 for our high in philadelphia sun, cloud but more sunshine then cloud cover 61 at the shore. We are looking for temperatures to be in the lower 60s toward the poconos as well. Tonight we will dip down to 48 r increases here, in philadelphia, and then taking a look at that seven day forecast, 57 tomorrow, much, much cooler, not quite as nice to start out the workweek. We were going to ride temperature roller coaster. Sixtys today. Fiftys tomorrow. Sixtys by tuesday. Once again 70s but dryer on wednesday, and then were looking for 80s by thursday, we will kick off the draft, of course, right down on the parkway at 80 degrees on thursday and 70s but were tracking another system that could bring a few showers for us on friday, and on saturday. That is what people love to do they love to be able to say, look at the life i was able to change. Because that doggies changing your life too and for the better. Yes. Lives could be very different if they had not found each other. Totally agree. You have a cat. Do you brush your cats teeth. I never her of such a thing , my cat riley will not let me near his mouth. Well, you have to be very careful. One of the things we will talk about this morning is the need to do tooth brushing on your pet, a lot of people dont do it. If you dont, obviously the advice is to brush their teeth every single day but if you dont then make sure it is your yearly vet checkup that they are check. I want to talk about the kind of breeds, in the maybe mittens who were looking at right here but the dogs with small breed, because their teeth are very crowded. So that kind of lead to this tarter build up. Dogs dont get cavities but they get gum disease. Where tooth and gum meet that can lead to bone loss and all sorts of things. Infection, abscess, and the breed that are small and even the breed especially that have the pushed in faces. So the pugs, boston terriers, bulldogs, and dogs with whiskers apparently, that curl into their mouth like a yorkie , are even more prone to have these dental problems. As are the mouth breathing dogs, like a greyhound and a whipit or these sight hound. It is very interesting to go me just about how whiskers going in the mouth, or the crowded teeth and these small jaws of these dogs, can lead to this problem. So keep it in mind. Yes. And brushing the teeth, going slow to begin with, and, you know. How to have treats afterward. Yes, special dental, toothpaste that tastes like, something a dog would like. I dont know maybe barbecue flavor or something but whatever it is, it is little tips and your velt can give some and google ideas on how to do it. So jan, i expect a full video of you with rileys teeth. I have little treats that say it goodies for are tarter build up. We will see if i can do the brushing. Ill try. Give it a shot or your vet can do it under general anesthetic they can really do a good cleaning but that within way they would do it. We have got the type of mittens who i dont even want to move because i dont want him to move. There you go, you can lay down look at how nice this doggies. I love him. With his little mittens.
