We are at the 50s in a lot of spots, cloud cover over us right the now so a little bit of sun should take us over edge in the 60s, close to that 70degree mark and we are not done this week too. We have warmth coming at us. 58 degrees in the airport in philadelphia, west wind at 9 miles an hour, this will Appalachian Mountains western pennsylvania and it warms temperatures up a little bit more. There we go. We have cooler spots mid 40s but that is not that bad up in allentown, mount pocono, 58 in wilmington. Fiftyseven in trenton. You can see where cloud are right the you this basically where we have these temperatures stuck in the 50s that warm air from yesterday kind of tracking the surface not going anywhere. A man is in the hospital this morning after being stabbed several times in center city. This all happened right around 11 30 last night near south 13th and spruce street just off brought street. Victim was taken to jefferson hospital. We dont know how he is doing right now, suspect fled on foot, no word on a description of that person or the motive. A man is in Critical Condition this morning after an overnight shooting, now this happened near cecil b. Moore avenue and north dover street in brewerytown just after midnight. Victim is a 50 yearold man, taken to Hahnemann Hospital. Police are looking for a suspect, investigators have not said what may have led to that shooting. A Philadelphia Police officer is in the hospital this morning as well after a chase involving a police helicopter, Highway Patrol and several dirt bikes. Cherri gregg from our sister station kyw news radio is live at Hahnemann Hospital this morning where that officer is recovering, cherri, what started this chase. Reporter good morning, jan yesterdays mild weather had bikers out in large thumbs and that is when police got a call to a north philadelphia street where, why they heard gunshots and bikers took off in Different Directions. They had to chase them and they caught two suspects and now Police Officers here at Hahnemann Hospital take a look at the video from the the scene taken saturday night. Officers got the call around 7 15 p. M. , they arrived in the 2,000 block of juddson street where they heard what they believe to be gunshots. They saw several men flee the scene, on dirt bikes, all headed in Different Directions , police from the 22nd district and Highway Patrol they split up to pursue with the Police Chopper overhead, Police Caught one suspect at front and gerney, they caught a second suspect near third anal and allegheny and it was during the scuffle with this suspect that the female Highway Patrol officer was injured. Police recovered a third bike near fifth and erie. Driver there got away on foot. Police say no officers fired their weapons during this pursuit, and as you can see officers shut down the area of the scene which is near 23rd and diamond for quite sometime on saturday, but they were unable to recover a weapon or to determine whether or not shots fired at the scene were directed at the officers. Back out the here live we understand that the female officer who was injured is currently here recovering at Hahnemann Hospital, with non life threatening injuries.
