Good morning a couple updates for you right now erie avenue at g street has reopened to traffic and that Unmarked Police car that had been here on the scene all morning long was just brought away. That is latest from the scene but taking a look at the video you can see what it looked like in the very Early Morning hours here at erie avenue at e street with that unmark police carrie mains here a against this wall. These were plainclothes officers on patrol when they were involved in the hit and run accident this were both taken to area frankford for minor injuries. Fortunately they are both expect to be okay. This hit and run happened here around 3 30 this morning, police tell us that the suspect vehicle hid the car from behind while moving. The officers then lost control hit a park car and then crash in the wall of the coca cola facility here in juniata. The suspect car then fled west on erie, and it is a dark colored car with front end damage, there is in better description than that. Driver of it the is still at large this morning. The police hope surveillance cameras can give them a better description of the striking vehicle and help this driver. Police were taken to the hospital to Police Officers, however they suffered only minor neck back and leg injuries.
