Fire fighters confirmed several people have died. Eyewitness News Reporter justin finch joins us at that scene in long branch with the most recent update for us, good morning. Reporter erika and nicole, good morning. Long Branch Police and Monmouth County fire are keeping this blocked as they continue that investigation of the fatal fire reports of three people dead and one in Critical Condition. Neighbors are saying they believe those four victims are a family this fire breaking out around midnight overnight, and quickly raise todd two alarms on the the 200 block of jolean avenue in long branch 56789 minutes from the shore. Fire damaged home is two stories and Officials Say the house took heavy fire and smoke damage inside, and those are the the conditions that Fire Fighters, and police found upon arrival and also, instant concern that victims were tracked upstairs. First responders quickly turned their attention to the second floor but that was no easy task. They tried to get upstairs to the second floor, the house was fully, involved, and they could not make their way past the smoke and fire and they tried their hardest to get up to the second floor where they thought there were some people. Reporter tremendous efforts underway to rescue those victims but in the end, three of been reported deceased and one victim in Critical Condition. This morning the the investigation into that causes now, underway. The block here is still roped off for that investigation. We are also told as well that the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office is taking over the investigation. We are live in long branch Monmouth County, justin finch for cbs3 Eyewitness News. Justin, thank you for that. Now new this morning one man is dead and another man is injured after a shooting in West Philadelphia. It happened at 62nd and market streets. Police say they found a 25 yearold man with a gun shot wound to the chest. He was rushed to the hospital in Critical Condition but later died. During the investigation they have learned a 36 yearold man was also shot. And that there was more than one shooter involved. We found 21 spent shell casings, and there were three separate caliber so we know that it is three semi hand guns in use. Second shooting victim is in stable condition. Police are, reviewing Surveillance Video to help id those suspects. Several School Districts north of chicago are closed this morning as a manhunt continues for the the suspects who killed a police officer. Correspondent Andrew Spencer reports that the faa has enacted a no fly zone in that search area. Reporter friend of the lieutenant Joe Gliniewicz says the the officer was an optimist in every situation. He was an incredible human being. Fun loving. Just a great guy. Reporter mayor of fox lake, illinois 60 miles north of chicago, adds his own words for fallen officer. Not only did fox lake lose a Family Member but i lost a very dear friend. Lehigh county prosecutors have charged snuka with third degree murder and Involuntary Manslaughter in the death of Nancy Argentino. She suffered head injuries staying with snuka at a white hall township motel in 1983. Her sister says that snukas autobiography let her to ask investigators to take another look. Reporter David Schultz is air boss this week and coordinating air shows for 21 years. He says key to pilot safety is practice and keeping meticulous maintenance lookings to reduce risk of mechanical failure. This show takes place over the ocean there are dive teams in position in case of the emergency. The as for spectator safety is there no boat zone where demonstrations happen and tricks will not be performed over the crowd. Happening today pretrial hearings begin in baltimore for the Six Police Officers charged in the death of freddie gray. Gray suffered a fatal spinal cord injury in custody. His death spark violent protests and attorneys for the six officers want charges dismissed and states attorney Marilyn Mosby removed from that case. Allegations of a fight club involving children, in north jersey are now under investigation. It reportly happened on the playground a at light Bridge Academy in cranford. Union county prosecutors say two former day care workers, encouraged preschoolers and kindergarteners to fight each other. Investigators say one of the two recorded video of them fights and shared clips on social media. About a dozen children, boys and girls, between the age of four and six, and just fighting, three to the ground, hitting each other. Again, what we would like to focus on at this point is that all of the children are safe, that is our number one priority. We have been in constant communication with our parents to let them know that we are here to fully support the care, nurturing, education of their children. Both workers are charged with child abuse, one is also charged with endangering welfare of the child, erika. Police say that Gregory Scott the opened up the bedroom window of the six yearold girl and tried to lure her away from the washington way apartments in blackwood. Scott also lives at that complex. The childs mother came home just at that time he was opening window and police say scott ran away. The girl was in the injured. Police in gloucester township Camden County warned residents of the possible fake utility workers. They say an elderly woman was robbed by a man resembling this sketch. He and another man gained access on Honey Locust Court by posing as workers. Then disabled her phone and then stole several items. If you have any information, you are asked to cat police.
