Police say car involved was stolen and eyewitnesses are helping them close in on a potential suspect. Eyewitness News Reporter justin finch is live, outside with the very latest on this investigation, justin . Reporter brooke and jim, Police Quickly found what they called a striking vehicle a 2010 white toyota a prius just blocks away from that hit and run crash scene. However they did not find any sign of the driver, taking you now to video of this scene here, this prius was found on the 1300 block of west pike street, and that is about two blocks from that hit and run scene off old york road near luzerne street where 25th District Police were called about 9 00 last night, they found an 18 yearold boy lying in the road with severe head trauma a, struck by a car, he was brought to temple hospital where he was pronounced dead a half an hour later. Officers then found that prius damaged consistent to the crash, that car, also came up, as stolen from east landsdowne. Police surveillance cameras did capture the crash and neighbors telling police they seen prius recently with the female driver behind the wheel. Police now want to talk to her. What we dont know is who was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident but we are looking for this female who were confident we know where she frequents. Were confident we will find her, but we will find out first of all was she driving this vehicle that struck and killed this 18 yearold.
