Jim, brooke, good morning, police are remaining on the scene this morning, and soon with a warrant will search the pratt street home at the center of this investigation, inside that home, a mother was found badly beaten, a daughter said she was raped, and a suspect is now on the loose. Now, police say, a man was seen running naked from this home on the 1900 block of pratt, just after 12 30 or so this morning, 15th District Police arrived and may have found an answer as to why. A 13 Year Old Girl wrapped in a blanket outside the home complaining that she was raped in her basement by a male family member. When officers knocked on the front door, there was no answer. A first search for a suspect led police to nextdoor Vantage Point from which they saw through a second floor window the girls 38 year old mother bleeding heavily from her head. Investigators say she suffered Severe Blunt Force Trauma to her face, left bleed nag bed with several teeth missing. A barricaded subject call was made, swat officers went in, and got the mother out. The mother was taken to einstein in critical condition. That 13 year old was taken to st. Christophers for an examination. Meantime, police are now concentrating on that familys home. We dont know what happened first, we dont know the motivation behind either of these crimes, how much, we are holding the house, it is a crime scene, both crime scenes are inside the house, and we believe that not only the 13 year old victim and the 38 year old vick tiff live at the house, we also believe that the perpetrator of this Sexual Assault lives in the house, also. Again, police remaining on the scene of the home this morning, they believe that surveillance camera is in the area may have captured that suspect running from that home make. The suspect could face charges of aggravated assault of that mother and also possible rape of that teen child, also at this time, special victims has been called in on this case.
