Another storm toward the end of the weekend. We are expecting, you know more to come down the road even though we saw more of a glancing blow from the major noreaster. We will talk about that. In Montgomery County dramatic rescues overnight when an Apartment Building goes up in flames. Mother and daughter were forced to jump to safety. I was just a able to speak with that family including a mother and her two young daughters five and eight, who jumped to safety after flames broke out in the second floor of the apartment complex. They jumped two stories down, mom woke up, saw there was smoke, hearing the alarm she got jackets on her little girl and when she realized there was no way out they had to jump. This is what the fire looked like here around 1 00 Officials Say fire crews had hadedded to rescue one person from the balcony a and one person taken to the hospital, but fortunately with only minor injuries. Four Story Building was evacuated and they got this fire under control around 2 30 in the morning but some could not wait for help. Take a listen to the family that got out on their own in a very dramatic way. I had to for my two girls. We had to jump. I was thinking i was about to break my head. Reporter this is cell phone video taken by that mom once her family was safe on the ground. They were not injured and now staying with family. Fire officials told them they would be out of their apartment for 24 hours. Meantime red cross is on the scene assisting families displaced, this morning. They are trying to get a good number how many families they need to help but right now they are assisting at least two families.
