I just spoke with the nephew of the deceased and he tells me that this husband and wife found dead, they are 66 yearold gladys perry, a retired Hahnemann Hospital nurse, and her husband 79 yearold roofus perry. According to the the family members this couple lived in their home for 40 years and in constant touch with family and in good health. You can imagine just how horrifying it was when their daughter came to check on them last night and discovered both bodies on the living room floor. It all happened here on the 2500 block of north spangler street in Strawberry Mansion. Neighbors heard that daughter screaming and called 911, just before 1 00. When police arrived, they found perrys unresponsive and unconscious but with no signs of trauma witnesses and family members have been taken in for questioning as medical Examiners Office prepares to conduct an autopsy. Right now, unknown cause of death, but the husband and wife were both found dead together, both pronounced at the same time, one, 10 00 a. M. , and it is an ongoing investigation. The bus driver went home and didnt realize the child was still inside that van until the drive back to school. Preliminary findings from the drivers employer show policies were not followed properly.
