This huge event has in fact been classified as a National Special security event. Reporter while thousands will be making the trip only a few lucky Ticket Holders will actually see the pope up close and in person. The secret service and world meeting of families announce the wednesday both the event on Independence Mall and the papal mass on the parkway will be ticketed. Everyone else may be watching from a jumbo tron. This is my opportunity to see to be with the pope. Sunday the festival of families and mass on the parkway is free but a ticket is required to get past the 20th street checkpoint. Those tickets have been alloca allocated to 219 local parishes, Catholic Service organizations and other faith ministries. Seem to make it a little difficult to come here with the crowds. Reporter even with a ticket general public entry will be based on first come fir serve basis due to limited space a portion of the guests may not be able to enter the secure areas. And possession of a ticket does not guarantee entry to the ticketed events. Still many are determined to make the pilgrimage. Nothing will keep the good catholics from seeing the pope, nothing. Reporter so the archdiocese tells us tonight that 80 to 100,000 tickets will be available for the parkway event on sunday and as far as saturday, those tickets will be Available Online beginning next week. Those taking part showed their support for the families and coworkers of sergeant raphael ali and officer lamar pool both killed in recent off duty accidents. Pool was killed when his motorcycle was hit by an alleged drunk driver. Sergeant ali died when he lost control of his pickup and hit a tree in roxborough. For the second straight day no one answered the door at snukas atco Camden County home. He has in the past denied killing nancy argentine know. And snuka has said that nancy fell that night back in 1983. The da back then was william platt. Hes now a judge and when i talked to him tonight he said that his current position prevents him from commenting as to why charges werent filed some 30 years ago. Authorities say four people including two children were found in a burned home in long branch, inform. The judge in the case denied defense motion to drop the case again the officers. But the judge did rule all six will have separate trials. Gray died of spinal injuries and Police Custody in april and his death prompted riots and unrest in the streets of baltimore. The manhunt continues tonight in Northern Illinois for three suspects wanted in the shooting death of a Police Officer there. Police say the trio gunned down Fox Lake Police lieutenant charles gliniewitz. He was shot yesterday morning at he was chasing three suspects. Gliniewitz was the faster four sons and with the Fox Lake Police department for more than three decades and was just days from retirement. For the second day in a row a county clerk in kentucky has denied a marriage license to a same sex couple much the clash between kim davis and couple robbery blank cep ship and jesse cruz was caught on camera. Davis is now asking a judge to delay his ruling ordering her to issue the license because she says doing so goes against her religious beliefs. A local transgender woman will undergo gender reassignment surgery after battling her parents in court. 48yearold Christine Kitzler of bucks county was born male but has identified as female since she was child. She was supposed to get reassignment surgery this week but her parents filed a Court Petition claiming she was not mentally stable enough to make the decision. Kitzler feels the surgery means live or death. I know theres some risk factors. I might die from this but its worth dying. I would rather die than live the way i was. Today the judge sided with christine saying she can have the surgery. She says shes happy about the ruling. A local photographer traces the footprints of his grandparents from the past to the present and goes quiet on adventure in the process and pictures he took, well, they tell a thousand words. Eyewitness News Reporter david spunt has this story. Reporter theres no such thing as time travel but if you sit down with Montgomery County native kristen core rollo youll get pretty darn close. You really kind of, you know, imagine what my grandparents were experiencing at that time. Photography runs beep deep in his family his grandparents traveled across america and left detailed proof from trips in the 1970s, 80s and 90s. A few years ago core rollo decided to travel to the exact same spots and i do mean exact. Go to those exact same mazes where they were and kind of think about maybe what they experienced when they were there. Its really its kind of crazy. Hes taken hundreds of photographs that match perfectly. How did he do it . With a little help from his grandmothers handwriting in this old journal. My grandmother was so detailed with her journals that if i didnt have those, most of them ill not be able to find. Reporter but would you believe it wasnt only buildings he found in the same spot. Core rollo took this photo from fisher mans wharf in San Francisco almost 40 year aft this grandfather did. If you recognize this guy in the picture, well, the the same wharf mow from 1979. I showed the photo to a worker there and he look at it and he kind of told me im pretty sure i know the guy in this photo. Hes like he just finish working and hes sitting at the bar eating din are in. After his grandfather died in 2008, core rollo started the past, present project. His mission is simple. Spread his love for history and maybe one day someone will take pictures and match them up to what life was like in old 2015. Until then, christine core rollo has his work cut out for him.
