It will be hotter tomorrow than its been in the month of may in a very long time. Good evening im chris may. Im jessica dean. This heat can be dangerous if youre not ready for it. Meteorologist kathy orr is live outside on the cbs3 sky deck with more on this spring sizzle. Kathy . Eighths ma amazing. Well be challenging record heat across the Delaware Valley tomorrow in philadelphia a record that is stood for more than 100 years. Its not just the heat its the humidity that will be an issue well feeling much more like summer. Now heres the setup. We do have partly cloudy sky over us right now but ahead of a cold front, we have the surge of heat and humidity. Behind that front a welcomed change but first we have to deal with sultry heat. It will be muggy overnight tonight. The air is very thick. During the day tomorrow, humidity will be high, and it will be feeling like its even warmer than the temperature. Well be talking about the heat index again well into the 90s. First forecast calls for temperatures around 70 degrees at 7 00 a. M. By 9 00, 78. By the 11 00 oclock hour, we are already at 83 degrees. Now coming up well talk about how high those numbers will go with this summer sizzle then a quick change back to spring that will bring a shock to the system and a stretch of dry weather that could get a little dangerous as we are already well below average in rainfall for the month. Ill see i was little bit later in the broadcast with those december tale. All right, kathy, thanks so much. This early heat brought along with it an explosion of pollen and a lot of Health Problems much whats causing this years bad allergy season . And driving so many people to the Doctors Office . In just about 10 minutes well share with you the simple steps you can take right now to help you breathe easier. Nfl drops a bomb on Quarterback Tom Brady and the new england patriots. Super bowl mvp suspended for tampering with game balls and thats not all. Lets bring in the sports director Beasley Reece veteran of the nfl. Perspective on this. The league clearly sent a message. This is the new nfl you mess up and its going to be theyre not messing around any more with this brand. The nfl suspended its biggest star and hammered its most successful modern day franchise. Deflategate went from a clever little phrase to a permanent place in nfl history. Tom brady will sit for four games because of his alleged actions his team is fined 1 million. A record. The pats lose that are first round draft pick in 2016 and a fourth round pick in 2017. Nfl players saw this coming. I think troy vincent the executive vicepresident of the inform fl he said it best. He said no one is exempt from the rules. And that really hit home because a lot of people thought tom brady wouldnt be suspended because he is the face of the nfl so to speak but they have to come down hard because they had to set a precedence dense. Talk radio has been a buzz since the wells report indicated that brady was generally aware that coworkers were deflateing game balls after inspection. Good for Roger Goodell showing a little back bone. They cheated. They deserve to be punished. I think the punishment will be skimmed back. I think brady will appeal and theyll probably role it back to two games. Im shocked. I really really am. I did not think that the super bowl mvp questionablely one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time would be suspended for the nfls season opener. The patriots and their hoodie head coach won so much four super bowl titles and accused of so much that theyve begun to represent the dark side. Controversies involving everything from snowplows to tough rules to spy gate all preceded deflategate and the nfl and its fans appear to have had enough. Im not a big fan of that team as a whole. I think you look at a lot of things and redid lot of things. Tom brady has a right to appeal four game suspension stands hell return against the very team that accused of him of deflating the football in the first place that would be the indianapolis colts. The league coincidentally guaranteeing itself a huge super sunday on october the 18th. That will be a big week. He could also miss the cowboys game if this the suspension holds thats the downside. The enemy of my enemy is my friends. Thank you very much. Well talk to you later in sports. We want to hear your thoughts on all of this.
