Its not a lot to say except she was wonderful daughter. She was just a delight. Reporter 47yearold laura was one of eight who died on the train. 200 were injured. First responders and those who witnessed the crash came out to pay respects just a few hundred feet from the crash site. We as community have found that the act of coming together to remember our fallen is often a healing experience. Reporter train 188 was traveling from philadelphia to new york and just moments after leaving 30th street station several cars derailed. A chaotic mass casualty scene was underway through most of the night. We in philadelphia police, fire, ems and many others got to meet you on what was most likely the worst night of your lives. Reporter the trains engineer Brandon Bostian has not said anything publicly since the crash. Data from the National Transportation safety board indicates the train was speeding at 106 miles an hour more than twice the posted speed limit in that area.
