To advance to the second round but with an american win or tie today, thats exactly what would happen. Team usa was greeted with cheers from american fans wednesday as they arrived in the city. Players spent the last three days recovering and regrouping after a physical first game against ghana and an emotional tie against portugal. This is the biggest game of a lot of our lives, so any fatigue in our legs will be erased. We got to give everything we got and more. Reporter giving more and going further than expected. It would be nice to be with the group because we have an easier knockout round but it will take every member of the team playing together and playing well. The coach yurgen klinsmann tweeted out a letter to your boss. I think because of the group we were in, the group of death with ghana, portugal, and now germany so expectations were extremely low and weve really superseded those expectations. So coach klinsmann is from germany. I believe there are five players on the u. S. Team who are both u. S. And german players, have passports from both countries. Does that help . I think so. We have an intimate knowledge of the team. Our players are very familiar with them. I dont think they know us as well as we know them. So i think thats a real advantage. How good is germany . Theyre one of the top teams in the world. They could win the world cup, thats how good they are. Is there a matchup to watch for something to see how it is going to go . I think their back four can be exposed, their defenders can be exposed but they have great attackers so we have to play very, very well. At the very least what does the u. S. Have to do in order to advance . Tie . A tie or a win were through. There are some scenarios. It was very funny because Stephen Colbert went through them the other day. But i dont even want to think about those scenarios. This could be a team of destiny. It could be. We had the 1980 hockey team and we had that momentum build. We could have something very similar in soccer and it has really grown and take shape. Im ready. Way to show your red, white and blue. I can go right down to brazil. Jeff, thanks. Reporter good morning. Investigators have revealed new information about the missing malaysia air jet. They spent weeks combing through satellite data from the missing plane to try and identify its location. They believe this new lead will help them uncover its final resting place. Investigators say before mh370 went down, it was likely on auto pilot. Certainly for its path across the indian ocean, we are confident that the aircraft was operating on auto pilot until it ran out of fuel. Reporter expert analysis determined that after that, the plane ended up farther south in the indian ocean than originally thought, but still along the seventh arc where the plane last communicated with a satellite roughly 1,200 miles off the coast of australia. This is the area now where the prospect of locating the aircraft is highest. Reporter its been more than three months since the plane disappeared with 239 people on board. For seven weeks the certainly centered on pings under the surface of the water that investigators believe came from the black boxes. An effort now largely seen as a distraction. Now the search effort will focus on a massive 23,000squaremile area of the indian ocean thats largely been unmapped. Can i emphasize again that this search is a major undertaking. This site is the best available and most likely place where the aircraft is resting. Reporter new information today, but the search is still more than a month away from resuming. Between now and then, independent contractors will be hired with sonar equipment that will be able to search deeper below the surface of the ocean, and even then, authorities expect the search to take up to a year, maybe longer. All nine justices coming together to declare if police want to search your cell phones when they are making arrests, they have to get a warrant first. The Obama Administration had argued that police should be able to routinely do this when they are making an arrest like they would go through your wallet or your briefcase. But the justices said cell phones are different. Theyre like mini computers, the corps said. If you think about it, they can hold everything photographs, email, banking records, medical records. Of course, all of that and i quote from the opinion sensitive personal information can form a revealing man life. The same cannot be said of a photograph or two tucked inside your wallet. If they want to search your cell phone, they have to get a certainly warrant. They cant open it. Up during an arrest as a fishing expedition. Whats coming up next for the Supreme Court to report on before it goes on its break . Reporter well, you know how they always save the big one for the end. The big one this term is a challenge to part of the president S Health Care reform law. Remember the justices upheld that law as constitutional. This one just focuses on a small part of the law that requires employers to provide conceptives through their Insurance Plan at no cost to employees. A couple that owns a chain of arts and Crafts Stores across the country, theyve got about 500 stores, challenged that provision saying that it violated their religious beliefs. A new jersey woman is suing for discrimination this morning. She claims that a former employer refused to change her schedule to help had her avoid rush hour traffic. The lawsuit says she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety aggravated by gridlock. She wanted to come in after the morning rush and leave before the roads jammed up in the evening. The Company Allegedly said no and fired the woman in retaliation. Cbs news legal analyst Rikki Kleiman is with us. Good morning. Good morning. Does she have a case . Indeed she does. At first blush the press headline is clearly frivolous lawsuit. Everybody gets aggravated in traffic. We all have anxiety in traffic. But, its hes not that simple. When we have the americans with disabilities act, and in this case new jersey has a similar act, as most states would do, what anxiety is is a recognized disability. This was a woman who said and went to a doctor that she had chronic anxiety and depression. Its documented. It was aggravated by her commute. So heres where the employer makes a mistake. They recognize the disability, they accommodate the disability just for a little while, then they say, well, nope. Then they allow her to take a medical leave under the federal medical leave act, which says you can take 12 weeks. She takes the 12 weeks. She comes back. She gets demoted. She gets demoted, and then she goes to file an ethics complaint with the company. All the systems they set up to deal with these issues. And then they fire here. But rikki, why couldnt it be maybe this is not the job for her, or why couldnt she come in before the morning rush hour as opposed to after . Couldnt they work out something that they still get work out of this employee . Now she has a very short work day. Well, she does have a short work day, by her request. But what happens is, an employer has an obligation to make a reasonable accommodation. They could have talked with her. They could have come up with something. Perhaps she did come in earlier or she did leave later. The problem is they didnt accommodate. And thats their only obligation. Once you do this, it is like the old buyer beware. In a company, especially a company like this, this is a 16 billion company. Big, big company. Lots of resources. No undue hardship to accommodate. Youve got to follow the rules of the law. So a lawsuit which looks frivolous like this, just wait a minute. Because we may see many more lawsuits like this. Thats the important point. A warning tole Many Employers on that.
