Meetings first reported to the Washington Post thursday. He was a top advisor to the campaign, and he did not disclose the encounters when asked about possible contact between members of the campaign and representatives of moscow during his january confirmation hearing. I have been called a surrogate a time or two in that campaign, and i did not have communications with the russians. Reporter in a Statement Last night the attorney general said i have never met with any russian officials to discuss issues of the campaign. I have no idea what this allegation is about. It is false.
