The mission serves hundreds of thanksgiving meals to the People Living on the streets every year. Families without a place to go come to the mission to be together. They are also given blankets. Socks. Jackets and gloves to help keep them warm during the season. More and more families are finding a need to come to a place like the Las Vegas Rescue Mission just to be to get a and to be able to celebrate and have a place like this to go and so more and more families are coming to us and thats the biggest change. The mission gave out more than a thousand pieces of winter wear this holiday. One local boy uses his birthday as a way to help collect for the mission. Just the people that you help out down here are just like really cool just to see their reactions and how thankful they are because some think its just a blanket or a jacket but some people really think its one of the best things you can have down here. 14 year old blaze trumble has been collecting Winter Clothes for the homeless since he was five years old.
