A man celebrating his birthday today was shot to Death Outside of his home. The shooting took place at 1 00 this afternoon at walnut woods drive in the southeast part of the city. The 20yearold victim lived at the home with his girlfriend and a young daughter. The paper says a relative identified him as himi martinez. Another woman was injured but her wound was minor. The police have not offered details on a possible shooter. Santa clara police are thanking the public helping catch a woman who is accused of robbery and attempted homicide. The woman was arrested after someone recognized her riding a bus in santa clara. She ran off of the bus and the police pound her a short time later. Wanted in contphebgz to two cases. One per beating a man with a baseball bat and robbing him of his walet and cell wallet and cell phone. The police are searching for a woman accused of stealing a Police Vehicle and injuring an officer. Early yesterday morning the 26 yearold was with two men in a stolen car when she rammed a patrol cruiser. The two male suspects got out and ran and the officers followed. That is when the Authorities Say she hopped in an empty police car and took off. The officer tried to stop her and they say she dragged him with that car. The Police Vehicle was later found abandoned. The authorities arrested one of the men but two are still on the run. The officer was treated at the hospital and is recovering at home tonight. A hover board is likely to blame per a for a house fire. The fire was burning on the first floor. They have not determined the exact cause but a melted hover board was found near the point of origin and the homeowner said it was charging. When the bid was put together over three years ago each city including stadium and the 49ers which was not built at the time. There were commitments made by santa clara and the 49ers and the stadium and San Francisco with the mayors to put together a bid for super bowl 50. With the bid comes certain commitments and obligations. With so many people in town you would think that San Francisco will reap the benefits in the long run. That is the key. There is a reason cities clammer to host it. It makes money. Does well economically. So, the city of San Francisco will earn a lot of money and a lot of revenue that will outweigh the cost. For sure. The recovery is actually amazing. Reporter lake county supervisor says phase one of Fire Recovery is complete. Areas with high erosion risks have been addressed. It has been cleared. Some areas a block away from this devastation here you drive through town and you would not know there was a fire here. Reporter all over say feeling of redeposition, signs of hope cover what was peoples lives turned into heils of rubble. As this time arises from the fire a spirit of new beginnings has caught on.
