Now the manhunt for the escapees has led to the bay area. The escape took place in santa ana, the Authorities Say the men made their way to san jose in a stolen van. Two of them may still be in the bay area or heading to fresno. We are live in san jose at the hotel where the two escapees had been staying. Reporter it is unclear where they are right now. We know earlier yesterday they were seen here at the motel. They were staying in room 14. That is all of the way down to this building here over my shoulder. The investigators believe the pair could be heading to fresno where one of them has family. Reporter she said she recognize the two fugitives, when i showed her mug shots of the other two as occupants of room 14 here at this motel. Although one difference from their photos, she said, now they have shaved his head. The motels owner would not go on camera. Confirmed the two stayed in room 14 for a couple of days and left sometime thursday. Scary. A lot of little kids around here. A lot of families down here. And, we were just down here. So it is a little creepy. Reporter friday morning, the third inmate that escaped from the Orange County jail walked into an auto business in santa ana where his friend worked and then surrendered to the police without a fight. He told the police he traveled north with the others but then decided to return south. More than a week ago, the three men all awaiting trial on charges from murder to torture made a brasin escape from maximum security jail and stole a white van. They believe the fugitives could be driving that van. We dedicated all available resources to the search and investigation. At least one of them has connection to the Vietnamese Community and organized crime. Investigators think the pair came to the san jose area because of the Large Community here. Though we believe that they may be in the san jose or destined for fresno. The investigators here in Orange County and the Southern California area are continuing to move forward. There a tremendous amount of intelligence. Reporter in another twist, a woman who taut english classes is under arrest per helping the inmates escape. Accused of developing an inappropriate relationship with one of them that still on the run. Providing google maps, this was a relationship that developed between the two.
