The attorney whos representing jailed county Clerk Kim Davis says she considered the licenses void since they dont have her signature on them. Davis husband who happens to be her fourth husband took a defiant stance when asked about the situation. No theyre not going to let her out and shes not going to bow i promise you that. The judge who ruled that davis was in contempt of court for not issuing the licenses, says samesex couples would have to take their chances on that matter. The case of a bay area woman 29 yearold Britney Menard inspired it. The bill would allow terminally ill patients to ask a doctor for medications to let them die. , menard moved to oregon where that state has a similar bill allowing patients to end their lives on their own terms. Today a judge ruled that Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez will stand trial on a Second Degree murder trial for and for being a felon in possess of a weapon. People rushing to help kate steinle. The 32yearold shot and killed while walking with her dad. You believe he wanted to kill kate steinle why not get closer to her. Why not fire more than a single shot. Reporter the attorney for her accused killer Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez says it was an accident. That he picked up the gun and wrapped it in his shirt without knowing what it was. He is a homeless person, theres no evidence that there was ever an effort to commit a crime. Reporter they say that sanchez was sitting in one of these spinning chairs when the gun went off. The bullet hit the ground before striking steinle. Sanchez then says that he threw the gun into the water in order to keep it from firing again. Sanchez initially told police he was shooting at seals or fish which contradicts the defenses claim that the gun misfired. It is an individual with a second grade education tries to put out an accident you know explanation for what happened because he doesnt understand. Were confident that we have sufficient evidence to bring justice for kates family. Reporter he could be looking at up to 19 years in prison because of his priors and the gun charge. The other dog they think had gotten into a small stagnant area and drank some water and it had some vomiting. Reporter the Sonoma Health official told us by phone no humans have reported issues. And theyre facing having to close the water. They do advise however keeping small children away from where algae collects.
