But the battalion chief went into the home and found the cat under a sofa. They brought him out and gave him asthma medication. Im told hes fire. Reporter fire crews were able to put out the fire in about 30 minutes but are still looking into what caused this fire. Someone inside the home may have been using a propane torch to kill termites. They say there may have been propane tanks inside the home but its too early to tell. Amber lee, ktvu news. Now to the latest on that wildfire thats burning in napa. Firefighters continue to make progress on the fire and here are the updated numbers tonight from calfire. So far 4,300 acres have burned and fire is 30 contained. We have Live Team Coverage tonight. Police say its unclear on who had the gun. The jury in the brian stow case has gone home without reaching a verdict. The panel will return on monday to continue deliberating on whether the l. A. For about 21 2 hours, emergency dispatchers had no phone service and no computer map. Dispatchers had to rout calls to san jose pd and talked to the Sheriff Department and ambulances through portable radios. They said they had never done that for real but training did pay off. A santa cruz toddler had a close call when he used a hypodermic needle in the sand. 21monthold fin was building a sand castle when he came across a needle. At this point, the cause of the boys death has not been officially determined. Similar charges have been filed against 18yearold williams of oak land. And a 15yearold male from antioch has been booked on several firearm charges as well.
