Now, here is the video of Maria Cruz Behar with two men back on november 15th of last year. This was taken at the restaurant tweeent 6 00 and 8 00 p. M. That night. At one point in the video, you see a man holding what may have been her shopping back and then in another clip one of the men holding her hand. Authorities hope somebody knows who these men are. Bothed describe as latino between 25 to 40 years old. The next day, her body was found lying on highway 29. The result, according to authorities, of being run over. She was in the rohnert park santa rosa area as late as 12 30 in the morning the night she osh the morning she die or the morning she died. I want to go to a map of a time line were tracing her steps that day. She went shopping at santa rosa at 2 00 p. M. At 6 00 p. M. , she visited quinceys bar and grill in rohnert park and then at 8 00 p. M. Thats when she met the two men at the restaurant and the trio went to the casa delmar restaurant at 11 00. Her body was found on state route 29 just before 5 00 a. M. Last november. Police say she met the men for the first time at the restaurant. The video is posted on our website, ktvu. Com. Neighbors say she was an innocentby stadder in the gunfire that erupted around 4 15 yesterday afternoon. Witnesses tell ktvu there were two cars engaged in a rolling gun battle. Got caught in the crossfire of other peoples stupidity and not knowing what was coming for her, whatsoever. And its just little sad. Her friends and family were here and for them to have to see that is just horrific. Nine minutes after sosa was killed two more shooting victims turned up two miles away. The second shooting victim showed up at the old clamhouse on bayshore boulevard. A woman pulled up in a black suv. She was bleeding and said a man was shot to death inside her car. That man is 38yearold dante glen of San Francisco. So far no arrests have been made. In the wake of such increased gun violence in San Francisco, the city may soon have a Gun Violence Prevention Task force, an ordinance to establish it was approved unanimously last night by the board of supervisors. The task force will be comprised of department heads, School Officials and Community Members who have lost loved ones to gun violence. Among its responsibility, the task force will analyze and monitor Police Response times and the allocation of resources. Police say a confrontation over loud music turned violent in oakland leaving a man hospitalized with serious injuries. Investigators say a couple living in an apartment on 90th avenue asked a 65yearold neighbor to turn down his music last night. When the neighbor refused, the woman showed up with a baseball bat and the neighbor with a wooden board. The woman hit the man in the head with the bat at least twice, leaving him critically injured. The couple, both aged 26, were taken into custody. A Stanford University student has dropped out of school after being arrested for allegedly rain raping a woman on campus. The news has sent shock waves throughout the campus. Janine de la vega tells us what shes learned about the case and how the university is responding. The university as a whole i dont feel has taken a Strong Enough sense. I dont think an email that we condemn rape is effective or sensitive. Reporter University Officials say they didnt put out an alert when the alleged incident happened because there was no longer a threat and privacy laws prevented them from doing so. Now that turner has been arrested, a spokesperson said there put out a letter and are praising students to helped praise turner. One of the drivers accused of participating in a street race in san jose that claimed the life of a 24yearold woman is due in court today. 23yearold Manuel Avalos is expected to be arraigned this afternoon. Investigators say he was racing 18yearold gabriel eperza on monday. The two were booked on vehicular manslaughter and reckless driving charges. A memorial for the woman is growing at the crash site on yerba buena road. Her siblings say she was the star of their family. Shes a really good person. She didnt deserve this. She just went out for a jog like every other day. Police say the two drivers were going 70 miles an hour in a 40mileanhour zone when they lost control and crashed there hitting pablo who was jogging by at the time. Santa clara county Health Officials have confirmed the first flu deaths of the season there. The Health Department says the person who died was younger than 65. The death occurred last weekend. The person did not have any known medical risk factors for flu complications. Officials also say the person had not received a vaccine. Wild pigs continue to cause big problems in san jose because of that, the city now has a permanent law allowing wild pigs to be caught, shot and killed. A temporary law was passed in november but residents and businesses near coyote creek and the Almaden Valley have continued to complain about damage caused by pigs. So you are here to talk about an important issue and that would be Prostate Cancer and hown the nfl is help how the nfl is helping to increase awareness. Well get to that in a minute. Buff first i want to ask you about media day in phoenix and what do you think about the performance from Marshawn Lynch . [laughter] well, i think its unfortunate that, you know, someone has to be forced to do the interview. In he really doesnt want to. I think i sit on the side of if you dont like doing interviews, you shouldnt be forced to do them. Thats my response to it. Im not surprised. I just dont like the fact that he feels hes been forced to do it and i kind of side with him on that. Okay. And he made it very clear. And thats really interesting to hear your take as a former player. I also want to just talk about the nfl came under fire for the handling of some Domestic Violence cases involving players. Do you think the league has responded appropriately with new ads and new rules in place . I would say that they are responding appropriately. You know, its its not over. So another big cause for the nfl is fighting Prostate Cancer. It affects one in seven men and you, in fact, are one of them. So obviously you are doing well which is good. But what is the nfl doing to help raise awareness about this . Well, one, were getting out in the communities and were educating men. Weve established a website for guys to, you know we can point people to the website, not just people that i know or but people that i meet . General. I get out quite a bit and talk to folks and hospitals and make myself available. And we use a lot of our hall of famers who want to help with the cause as well. You found out about your diagnosis because of an nfl get together. Is that correct . Well, it was actually, a screening. It was at the pro football hall of game. Its where there launch the campaign. I went down as an employee of the nfl to try to help the guys take the simple blood tests. I ended up taking taking the test myself. Because i took the test, the doctor called me in to give me the results of the test, thats the first time anyone had ever talked to me about prostate, prostate health, Prostate Cancer. When i heard the statistics at that time it was one in six will be diagnosed in their lifetime. I thought that seems like a lot of men. I asked about how many women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer. He said one and eight. So i said why is that i know more about Breast Cancer and know nothing about Prostate Cancer and there was no explain explanation. And i found out that i had Prostate Cancer and then later they asked if i would be a spokesperson and i said absolutely because i thought it was terrible men knew too little. Its run in families. Ive talked to guys where the dad had it and has passed away and the sons know they should be getting screened or having a blood test every three months to monitor their psa levels. When you Start Talking to them, they still dont know where the prostate gland is. Men need to Start Talking about it and normalize our discussion about their health. Know your stats.
