Meanwhile a solid lead in that search for the missing malasian airlines, we have more on the satellite images showing debris floating in the indian ocean. Reporter a possible break in the search for the search for malasian flight 360, they are focusing on the indian ocean off the western coast of australia, looking for two pieces of debris, the larger piece is 79 feet long and searchers say it could be wreckage from the missing jetliner. On this particular occasion, the size and the fact that there are a number located in the same area, really makes it worth looking alt but i dont want to speculate about what they are until we get there and we see them. But locating this debris will be challenging because of poor weather and rough seas in that ocean and they caution it could be unrelated to the missing jetliners, containers have been known to be missing and there is also the timing, these were taken 4 days ago and Officials Say they was no delay. It disappeared 13 days ago after it took off heeded for beijing with 239 people on board, it made a sharp left turn and disappeared from american radar, the partner of an american passenger on board that flight weighed in on the possible debris sighting. Well, i took hoping that somebody took this flight for a reason, which means they would have preserved it and tried to hide it someplace, tried to take it someplace, so if this debris is part of that plane then it kind of dashs that wishful thinking. Tomorrow planes will continue flying over the remote area of the indian ocean, looking for that debris in what promises to be a long and difficult search. Alex savidge, ktvu channel 2 news.
