There are very few details, but we know the original call came in about 6 am. Look at that car window that has been shut out. Right now, the area is blocked off. We know that at least one person is dead. The police have not given us any information about the victim or any possible suspect. It appears that the victim was shot inside of a car. We are following breaking news of an arrest in connection with the shooting death of a pregnant 18yearold. It happened early this morning in vallejo. They used in aerial ladder. Authorities had tracked into that apartment complex. At this point, they will only say that he is 21. Investigators are refusing to disclose a potential motive. They do tell us that the 18 yearold was shot just before 8 pm monday night and in the apollo. St. Paul low. She was found in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to her chest. She was rushed to hospital where she died. Doctors performed an emergency csection but her baby did not survive. Neighbors say she was going to have a baby shower this weekend. Police had been searching for russell for the last week and had asked for the publics help because he was extremely dangerous. Officers did end up receiving tips. He had shaved his goatee and he was driving a different car then he had been before. This morning, people from the neighborhood reacted. This is what they had to say. It terrifies me. I am relieved that he is caught. Absolutely, thank you to the police. He is caught, but there are other people out there who do the same things. So just be careful. Be aware of your surroundings. Back reporter s arrest comes five days after they say he tried to attack a woman and drag her off. And a couple days before that he targeted another woman. Both women were able to fight him off. Police are looking into whether the shooting was game related. The corner gang related. A driver is safe and no doubt, lucky to be alive. Police say that the woman was driving this spurious. They got some minor accident with another car. As about 6 30 pm last night. She was rearended and her car was pushed up unto the railroad tracks. She got out of the car just as that train came down the tracks. She escaped just before the train smashed into her previous. And police say about 200 passengers were onboard that train. No injuries were reported. Happening today the arson suspect accused of intentionally starting one of the most destructive wildfires in california history is due in court and a half an hour. He is scheduled to enter a plea in lake county. He is suspected of setting the clayton fire. It destroyed 300 structures most of them were homes. And, it is charged with starting a series of smaller fires. Hundreds of homes are still threatened by a wildfire. The saddle fire started sunday afternoon it has burned about 850 acres. And, new information yet about a potential suspect. It appeared that the victim was shot inside of his car. A moment ago we had a picture of a window broken and shattered. [gunshots] that blast you heard appears to have come from a grenade. They tracked down the suspect to an apartment building. They eventually used the Fire Department ladder to reach the suspect and take him into custody. He is identified as the 21year old luis morales. Investigators are refusing, at this time to disclose a potential motive to the shooting. The victim, the 18yearold was shot monday night witnesses say that they heard several gunshots and then a vehicle speeding away. She was seven months pregnant, found in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to her chest shes transported to the hospital but died, they did perform an emergency csection.
