When the police arrived, they found a man in a car who had been shot in the chest. Police later surrounded the house on e street and after a brief standoff, the suspect verdict. Charges have been filed against a Minnesota Police officer in the shooting death of a man at a traffic stop. Prosecutors say the officer who stopped Filando Castile had no reason to use excessive force. Investigators say evidence shows that castile cooperated and was reaching for his i. Her family held a super hero themed fundraiser that first year to raise money for Cancer Research and this year they did one for giselles birthday, raising nearly 5,000. It shows shes special. She really does go out for other kids. Reporter so on the day giselle came for the her very last doctor visit, the family presented the check as a thank you to the staff. Because of them my daughter is here with us today two years later. Reporter the family hopes the money will go to new research for children with leukemia. We just talked to them at their age and help them understand, yeah, its not immediate, but at the same time, down the line the money shes raised is going to help someone else. There was a special celebration in the east bay for parents who are giving a permanent home to foster children. So far this year, almost 100 foster children have been adopted. 150 more foster kids in the county still need a home. Officials say as foster children get older, it gets harder to place them in a home. Every child deserves a life long connection and with he know that when children are connected with families and have a lifelong connection, they thrive. The county is hoping more parents will come forward to provide what they call forever homes for those foster children. Happening today, a new chickfila in pleasanton is giving away new food.
