Two adults were in the backseat. They pulled off the freeway and got help. Its pretty miraculous that none of the outlines were hit, especially the three children seated in the backseat. So they should count theyre blessings tonight. It definitely was pretty miraculous. And initially, the chp thought that only the car with the children inside was struck by gunfire. And later on two other shooting victims showed up at a nearby hospital. Investigators say the man and woman who showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds were the intended targets. Both of them are expected to survive. And of course, there have been a number of shootings on this stretch of i80 as we have reported and at this point, the chp is not saying if this was connected to any of the other cases. Time is 4 33.
