We have developing news right now, a big sinkhole opened up on a very busy street in union city. The sinkhole is about 10 for by 12 foot. It has shut down the westbound lanes of alberta boulevard your newhaven street. We just talked to officials and we now know how water came out and filled the sinkhole. Around 7 oclock last night the asphalt fell on top of a water main under the road causing a joint to split open. It will pretty much make the leak a lot larger as you start eroding dirt and so forth. The workers still dont know what caused that sinkhole. They are bringing in a lot of heavy equipment to dig up the book dig up the ground to get to that water main.
