A local Wine Industry ride who met dahl on several low ocakes several occasions talked to me about his demeanor. He was very charming. He had the right demeanor but he had this quirk that if you said something that he didnt agree with, you got these little micro expressions. Of not quite wage quite rage. He liked to control the situation. Reporter and the writer also said dahl moved here from the midwest with dreams of becoming a successful winery owner. Now according to the press democrat after dahl shot the man in the head in the middle of the vineyard, he led deputies on a pursuit and then eventually committed suicide inside his suv. This came out of nowhere for a lot of people who knew both of those men. The lawyer who was involved in yesterdays business meeting told the press democrat that the two men left that meeting promising to work out their differences and then, dave, not long after that there was gunfire in the vineyard.
