I want to give you guys an idea of what it looks like right now. We all know the roadway closed in the southbound direction for the past five days. It closed on thursday. Thats because the construction crews needed to do some retrofitting. They had the hinges that hold the freeway together and they need to change them out. They allow the freeway to contract and expand and then they will also help the freeway hold up in the event, you know, of any major earthquake. As you can see right now, its really not that crowded. I have to say i was out here on the roadway of 101, i think that was a couple of days ago. That was maybe on the freeway. The traffic was a little bit, you know, crazy on 101 because everybody was taking that roadway instead of 280. I had the chance to take the northbound direction a couple of times, this is a virtual ghost town. But crews, while they had the shutdown happening, were able to paint some of the lines on the freeway. They were able to put up new signage. Were approaching cesar chavez exit actually where they actually had the freeway shut down to. It was supposed to open at 5 00 a. M. But it opened at 2 00. That was the good news. You can see that everything is pretty much smooth sailing here as we cruise to the area. Just to let you know, come 4th of july weekend, as well as labor day weekend, they are going to be closing it in the northbound direction in order to do the same sort of type of work. So as you can see here, were getting off at the cesar chavez exit. It was a smooth ride. Not too much traffic out there. Just be prepared, though, to make some different plans come supply as well as labor day. Well head it back to you. All right, tara. Thank you. 7 0 a. Were still 7 05.
