They found two people who had been shot including one victim who was hit in the face. Police say the man who was shot died here at the scene. Ament woman was taken to the hospital. Police say the shooter was firing a shotgun last night. That person then jumped into a car with several other people and sped off and still on the loose this morning. According to a report from the San Francisco chronicle, this shooting may have been the resort of a medical marijuana robbery. We dont think this is a random event but we are trying to figure out where this shooting occurred. We dont believe its random at this point. Reporter police so far have not identified the man that was killed here last 162 people on board most were indonesian. The bay area is experiencing cold temperatures this week. Prison Officials Say the attackers used handmade weapons and they also say a second inmate was hurt. Guards used chemical agents and nonlee shall weapons to subdue the attackers. Yesterday protestors marched after the autopsy report was released. Ford was shot three times in his right side, in his back and his arm. Police say they were questioning ford about suspicious actions when ford tried to grab a Police Officers gun. He was not a gang member. They had no right to be stopped by police. The fight over a plastic bag band in california continues. Opponents say they have collected the half a million signatures needed to get the issue on the November Ballot in 2016. California is the first state to nabbing a statewide ban that is set to take effect july 1st. If it qualifies the plastic bag band will be on hold. A ban on plastic bags helps the environment. Plastic bag manufactures say it would lead to a loss of ons. Time is 5 15. The new year brings a New California law. One that changes the process for putting a new initiative on the state ballot. It gives them an extra 30 days to collect signatures. Any proposed initiative go through a 30day public review and requires a legislative hearing when an initiative has collected 25 of the needed signatures instead of after the initiative is already qualified for that ballot. The way it works currently is that its only after a measure is qualified for the ballot that they have the legislative hearings so the legislative hearings tended to be in late july and into august. And by then the legislature its too late for them to really do anything. Now the idea is to give lawmakers a chance to act on an issue that seems to have public support. If an initiatives backers are satisfied, they would be able to take that initiative off the ballot. Nearly 200,000 that is how many people will be gathering in San Francisco for new years eve and businesses well, they couldnt be happier. Several bodies as well as debris has been recovered from search crews. These are the crew members coming back with debris found from that plane. The plane disappeared sunday. The pilots last contact was to divert around bad weather. Family members for those on board they reacted very emotional as you can imagine when they found out what the search crews found today. The families have been gathered at the airport in indonesia. They have been waiting and hoping for better news. Of the 162 people on board, most were indonesian. This morning air asia offered family members to visit the search area. The airline said it would provide a flight to that search area tomorrow. This stems from an investigation into claims of a sex tape involving a former battalion chief charged with killing his girlfriend in sacramento. During that investigation flemings wife claims she saw a tape of the girl having sex with fleming and other firefighters on a fire engine. Police in santa cruz searching for the driver involved in a hit and run crash that killed a father of 11. Investigators say this white pickup truck hit and killed 63 yearold jose lanes as he was riding his bike to work early friday morning. Investigators also found pieces from the suspects vehicle at the scene. They say the debris is pointing to a white 2007 Toyota Tundra like this one.
