Misunderstanding. No murder weapon was ever pound in the double homicide. This knife was apparently uncovered by a construction worker possibly when simpsons house was torn down in 1998. The work he apparently gave the knife to an offduty officer at a movie shoot nearby. Police are looking into the authenticity of the story. Harvey levin says Police Became aware of the knife after the officer decided to engrave and frame it. He wanted to get what th called the dr number. Number for the murder file for Nicole Brown Simpson and ron goldman. So he called a friend of his at robbery homicide and said, hey, can i get this number . Because i got this knife. And this guy at robbery homicide said, are you kidding me . Now, since o. J. Simpson was acquitted he cannot be prosecuted again. He is in prison in nevada on a robbery and kidnapping conviction. There is a security warning out at los medanos in pittsburg after a report of a Sexual Assault in a campus bathroom. Christien kafton with information on the man police are looking for. Reporter female staffers and students are learning about this reported Sexual Battery we we are understanding happened on the second level of the College Complex building here. Here hes what weve learned so far. We received an email overnight that was sent out by the college shortly after midnight about a Sexual Battery. After 9 00 last night Campus Police received a report of that Sexual Battery which took place in a womens restroom on the second floor of the main College Complex. There arent a lot of details about what took place, but there is a description of the suspect in the case. Police are looking for a white man in his mid 30s, six feet tall with blue sighs and medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black bandanna over his mouth and gloves. The College President says safety is the colleges number one priority. It is a very, very safe campus. All of our statistics indicate that. This is an anomaly. So people certainly need to be mindful that this sort of thing can happen and we will be radio he minding people to be on the alert and we do that routinely. Reporter police and College Administrators are asking anyone with information about this case to contact them. In pittsburg, christien kafton, ktvu fox 2 news. San jose police are looking it to see if speed and alcohol were factors in a deadly accident early this morning. Investigators say an suv and a pickup truck collided at camden and lee avenues before 3 00 this morning. The force of the impact sent both vehicles spinning. The driver of the pickup truck was ejected. He died at the scene. When officers arrived they found a young man they say appeared intoxicated. Its not clear if he was a passenger in the suv or the driver. We did find a person loitering around that seemed to be associated. We detained him. We are it will investigating that aspect. The name of the victim has not been released either. Police spent the morning collecting evidence and they will also be looking into the registration of the suv to see who owns it. We are learning more about the couple who they say were randomly attacked in San Franciscos duboce triangle. Now, we got these pictures of the victims injuries. Dean ayers says he and his wife were walking along henry street on february 23 when they passed by four men who ended up attacking him. Ayers wife as punched and suffered skull fractures when she hit her head on the concrete. Errors suffered a broken fib la and possible broken ankle. One suspect is 56, possibly hispanic in his early 20s and with long dark curly hair tied in a ponytail. A gofundme page has been set up to help the couple. New security cameras are helping investigators identify the people involved in a big fight at the Santa Clara County jail. It shows two inmates punching each other yesterday. It involved at least ten inmates in a maximum security wing. The fight triggered a lineup at the jail. Deputies eventually broke up the fight using pepper spray. It looks like one inmate brushed up against another and then the fight was on with fists. You can see a lot of fist fighting going on. We will be able to see who was the aggressor, who was assaulted, who was involved in the fight. Now, the fight happened just one day after the sheriff installed a dozen security cameras in the jail. Sheriff lori smith went out herself and bought the cameras, which totalled about 760. The jails new 20 million Surveillance System wont be up and running for another two years. A judge has ruled that Santa Clara County deputies must stand trial for the beating death of an inmate. The preliminary hearing against jerry lubrin, Matthew Farris and Russian River last Rafael Rodriguez lasted four days. They are accused of killing Michael Tyree last year. The medical examiner testified that his death was clearly a homicide. The three deputies are due back in superior court on march 14th for arraignment. Well, bart riders may be feeling a little extra crammed after dozens of cars were pulled from the tracks, bart says 80 cars were knocked out of service after traveling through the transbay tube and 40 of those cars became disabled monday alone. The agency has not pinpointed the exact problem, but officials suspect the cars were damaged by some sort of power surge in one area of the tube. After hearing about this latest maintenance issue, bart riders are bracing for more crowded trains. Maybe shorter trains. Maybe, you know, you never know whats i have ridden bart now for three, three and a half years every day five days a week and i complain about it, but you know he what . Its better than driving. Bart says this has been an ongoing problem in the transbay tube. The situation worsened over the last couple of weeks. So the hotel looks bad. Then he maneuvers his way into a room next to her. This ant the marriott corporation. Mashville marriott. Its the nashville marriott. She wasnt attacked. There is no injuries to her body. How does her legal team prove to the jury that she was injured emotionally . Well and she has testified. A lot of tears on the stand. Does that help, by the way . Absolutely. The jury sees that . You have to be genuine when you hit the stand and start crying. What she talked about and what i thought was important, very important, was when she said, you know, i thought about having children. How am i going to explain to my kids when they come home and say, mom, all the kids are saying youre on the internet and youre naked. How does she explain that to kids . That shows she has been injured . It certainly shows she has and her children will be affected by that. One of the things the defense did in this case, and you know, i am not sure whether this is good or not. They asked her, they said, hey, you got a lot of raises. After this you go to fox and get raises. Thats their main argument, that this video advanced your career . I tell you what. Is that a good strategy, by the way . Its a horrible strategy. Its despicable. She was already a public figure. Yeah. How about she did these things on her own merit. She gets raises. Not because someone took nude photographs of her and put it on the internet. Oh, thats why she got it . No. Thats insulting to her. Its insulting to people who have jobs that somehow get in this type of situation. I find that terribly insulting. Its going to upset the jury in my opinion. They are never, never going to bring back 75 million. Whats your verdict on this one . I think five, maybe seven million bucks back. Guess.
