The hottest locations between now and then were tracking some changes, mainly with the change of the wind direction. More of an onshore breeze cooling things off coast side and right around the bay. Inland still close to 100. Here is our thinking. Maybe a slight drop off into tuesday and then a gradual bump up of the numbers on wednesday and thursday. Thursday will be really hot. After thursday they will begin to bring in some relief across portions of the bay area. Now this forecast model is pretty aggressive. We could have areas of fog tomorrow morning near the coast and maybe near the bay itself. But then to the afternoon hours, here we go with the bright colors to right around 100 degrees inland. Most of the cooling near the coast out towards San Francisco, maybe even a place like san rafael and oakland and hayward and fremont coming down into the lower 90s. Maybe some mid90s tomorrow afternoon near san jose. Take a look at the highs for your monday. Triple digits out towards fairfield and vacaville. Oakland will go 84. More temperatures are closer to 100 degrees out towards livermore and brentwood. For san jose 93. So there is some improvement for portions of the Santa Clara Valley for tomorrow. But we will not be cool. San francisco 76 and the coast mainly in the 60s. Heres a look ahead to your fiveday forecast and maybe a little bit of cooling for you on tuesday and temperatures will ramp up by thursday. Thatll be the day we will be concerned with. Once we get over that hurdle then were looking better towards your weekend. Okay, this is heat that could be dangerous . Absolutely. And also just for the evening hours by 10 00 tonight we will still have some areas in the mid80s out there. The evening is still warm. Thats unusual. Thanks, mark.
