Health Officials Say everyone who got sick ate at the mariscos san juan on 4th street last friday or saturday. Doctors say that they all have a highly contagious bacteria called shigella, causing stomach pain, diarrhea, and fever. 12 of those hospitalized had to be emitted to the intensive care unit. An investigation is underway to determine the source. Most important prevention measure that you could take if you have shigella or any involvement including diarrhea is meticulous hand washing. County health Officials Say that the restaurant will be closed until the other Health Inspection could be closed. The restaurants two other locations are not affected. Developing news now involving a flight from san jose that was diverted this afternoon because of the unruly passenger. American Airline Flight 2232 was heading to Dallas Fort Worth making an emergency stop in phoenix to remove that passenger. This is a tweet from another passenger Christine Merritt showing a Law Enforcement officer standing right there in the aisle. The 26yearold passenger appeared to be intoxicated and was disruptive. Officers say he suffered only minor injuries and was arrested. Now police say they are looking for a red or maroon four door hyundai and a newer white four door toyota camry or similar model. Investigators are looking in to what caused a steel guardrail fence to give way and fall right in to the busy interstate 880 last night. The traffic owners are moving freely north and southbound near their overpass. Any movement on the freeway is better than what occurred last evening at about 6 30. As we were heading south on interstate 880. All of a sudden out of nowhere you see a plume of smoke rising from the air. All of a sudden you see a bunch of vehicle debris appearing to the vehicle debris scattered through the air. On the south corridor. New at 6 00 Daly City Police are asking for help in tracking down a man wanted for Sexual Battery involving a teenage girl. That man approached that 16 yearold in trying to talk to her. A warning to stay away from the water at the marina in oakley. The problem is a growth of blue green algae detected at the big break marina. Bluegreen algae can be harmful to humans and animals. The east Bay Regional Park District say people should stay away from the water. Initial tests have indicated that the algae is not toxic, but they plan to keep a close eye on the situation. Earlier this year the lake in oakland was closed for months after toxic bluegreen algae was detected there. On this day in 19919 east bay hills erupted in to an inferno. The dry northerly winds turning northeasterly for the next 12 hours or so, continuing to drive our dry warming trend. Outside our doors this afternoon as we mentioned santa rosa hit 89 degrees. In areas right around antioch and livermore also in the 80s. Inside the bay take a look at areas like heyward and oakland and low 80s outside this afternoon. To get along the coastline where it was a beautiful day. Mild, 67 with mostly sunny skies in areas right around pacifica as well as Half Moon Bay with a look at the 24hour temperature change from yesterday in to today. A big warm up, especially for their inland communities. Starting just inside, up by a few degrees. Falling a little bit warmer in areas like Mountain View and san jose up by 8 degrees this afternoon. As we go inland that it will be more like 10 to 12 degrees warmer than just 24 hours ago. At one point that they were almost 15 degrees warmer than 24 hours ago. Searchers found a body in a car buried by last weeks mud slides in southern california. The first concerned fay salty from that slide. Officials, they have not said yet whether or not that body is that of a 67yearold man believed to have been swept away by torrential rains. The cost of our produce has gone up a cent per pound over the last year, which doesnt sound a lot to me or you, but when youre distributing 18 Million Pounds a year, talking upwards of 200,000. The ridge of High Pressure will continue to build in to start out with mostly clear skies to be mostly sunny for their entire day and that northerly flows, they will switch a little bit and become northeasterly, so it will be dry and north to northeasterly winds in that forecast and that it could be a little breezy, especially in the hills for the next 12 to 24 hours or so. And picking it out for you here and at this time that we do even have a little on shore breeze reported right along their coast and just inside that bay with a light one, but it will be there for most areas over the north bay and their inland east bay and that north to northeasterly breeze that will be glowing in the hills. Tomorrow morning we start the day where we would have the north winds that you can see the way the arrows are pointing in this direction coming from the north gusting to about 25 Miles Per Hour in and around napa. Again, breezy and windy in our hills as we start the day. The northeasterly breeze is a light one, but still there as we could seat east bay hills begin to pick up as well.
