Reported him missing at 8 45. A preliminary search of the island turned up nothing. Dozens of people spent monday looking for him. The marine county Sheriffs Office and Police Department do not believe foul play was involved in this case. We have talked to the coroners office. They were all formally charged with murdering inmate Michael Tyree. Those who were supposed to protect Michael Tyree did not. Instead they killed him and we have charged them with murder. The 3 officers stand accused of beating to death tyree. He was found in his cell covered in his own waste. The 3 deputies all postponed entering any pleas. Say farris did not cause his death. Hes not doing well at all because hes in custody. Hes law enforcement. Court documents released today indicate the 3 officers entered tyrees cell to conduct a search. The documents say numerous inmates heard tyree screaming im sorry, stop. The inmates say they also heard something and banging noises. When one of the deputies returned an hour later he found tyree on the floor. We have filed murder charges against all 3 correction officers because they are all 3 responsible for the murder
