Still a lot of twists and turns. But there is a path. Reporter that path having the city, county and a non profit team up to buy the Mobile Home Park and keep it that way. The city set aside 8 million in afford housing funds. The county 8 million. They coulded raise 10 million could raise 10 million in bond funding but is it enough to convince the owner to sell it . Our calls were not returned. We dont know what the value might be. The owner doesnt want to have the conversations till he gets through the process. I respect that. Reporter on may 26 the city counsel will decide whether or not to give the owner of the park final approval to sell the property. That stress comes from the fact the far side of the road is moving fast the near side at the rate of 1 inch every six years.
