He knows there is no way he could find place like this in a good neighborhood for a thousand dollars a month anywhere else in the bay area. [ speaking Foreign Language ] how do we avoid an eviction, how do we preserve the park . Reporter the supervisor announced a plan to save the Mobile Home Park. I am confident it can work. Still a lot of twists and turns. But there is a path. Reporter that path having the city, county and a non profit team up to buy the Mobile Home Park and keep it that way. The city set aside 8 million in afford housing funds. The county 8 million. They coulded raise 10 million could raise 10 million in bond funding but is it enough to convince the owner to sell it . Our calls were not returned. We dont know what the value might be. The owner doesnt want to have the conversations till he gets through the process. I respect that. Reporter on may 26 the city counsel will decide whether or not to give the owner of the park final approval to sell the property. Todays message from governor jerry brown comes after he issued an executive order calling for 25 water reduction across the state. Caltrans is challenging a report that sea water may have leaked into the base of the tower of the new bay bridge. They say they are trying to figure out the source of the water. Experts said the water has chloride higher than in rain water and it may be damaging the rods. The rods are key to keeping the tower from moving up and down in the event of an earthquake. More earthquakes striking close to where a series of earthquakes hit sunday. A earthquake hit at 7 00 a. M. Reporter they cant pinpoint them well enough to know if they are on the main fault or a splinter fault. The concord green valley fault has 4 chance of a 6. 6 earthquake in the next few years. This is very much a drop in the bucket compared to stress changes required for a 6. 6. That stress comes from the fact the far side of the road is moving fast the near side at the rate of 1 inch every six years.
